Coria announces seven public employment positions in three selection processes

The City Council of Coria has announced seven public employment positions through three selection processes whose bases are published in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Cáceres number 153, of August 12, 2026. The calls, approved by resolution of the Mayor’s Office and signed by the delegated general secretary Luis Felipe Rueda Luis, include two positions for administrative manager (C1), two for gardening officer, and three for first-class sports officer through internal promotion.
The bases are issued under the protection of Article 41 of the Regulations on Organization, Operation and Legal Regime of Local Entities, in accordance with local regime regulations and the Basic Statute of Public Employees. The administrative manager positions are included in the City Council’s Public Employment Offers for 2024 and 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura on February 16 and June 16, 2026, while those for gardening and sports correspond to the 2026 OEP.
Administrative managers: open competition in three exercises
The call with reference BOP-2026-3812 provides for the permanent provision, through open competition, of two positions for Administrative Manager as career civil servants of the General Administration Scale, Administrative Subscale, group C1 and level 18, full-time. It requires Higher Secondary Education, Higher-level Vocational Training or equivalent, and examination fees of 23 euros.
- First exercise: multiple-choice questionnaire of 60 minutes, with a minimum of 5 points out of 10.
- Second exercise: written development of two randomly chosen topics, in 120 minutes, with a minimum of 10 out of 20.
- Third exercise: practical case in a maximum of two hours, with a minimum of 10 out of 20.
Gardening officer and first-class sports officer
Reference BOP-2026-3810 announces two positions for Gardening Officer as permanent labor staff (positions 89 and 216 of the municipal staffing plan, group C2, level 15), through the system of open competitive examination. Applicants must prove ESO or equivalent, the qualified phytosanitary license and a B1 driver’s license, and pay 16 euros in examination fees.
- Examination phase: 40-question test, written development and practical case, up to 36 points.
- Competition phase: 1 additional point for the handler or applicator license for biocides of livestock use.
Call BOP-2026-3811 covers three positions for First-Class Sports Officer (files 109, 110 and 254; group C2, level 15) through internal promotion, by means of a merits competition with a maximum scale of 10 points: up to 7 for experience as a laborer in sports facilities and up to 3 for training.
- Requirement: be permanent labor staff of the City Council in group AP (laborer in sports facilities) with more than two years of seniority in the position.
- Examination fees: 16 euros.
Deadlines, applications and employment pool
Applications must be submitted electronically or at the locations listed in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, within 20 business days: for the free-access shifts, starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official State Gazette; for internal promotion, starting from its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) of Cáceres. They must be accompanied by proof of payment to the municipal account ES90 2100 2772 59 0200015026.
- Provisional lists of admitted and excluded candidates, with 10 business days for corrections.
- An odd-numbered Selection Board, with at least five members, including participation of union observers.
- Calls governed by the letter “L” (published in the BOP of 24/12/2025); those who pass the first exercise without obtaining a post will join an employment pool in the manager category.
With seven posts between the free-access and internal promotion shifts, this set of calls strengthens the Coria workforce in administrative areas and in the maintenance of public spaces and sports facilities, a relevant opportunity for applicants from throughout the province of Cáceres.
