Corfo adjusts guidelines for the indigenous program Creciendo for entrepreneurs

The Indigenous Development and Promotion Committee of the Production Development Corporation (Corfo) modified the guidelines of the “Creciendo” financing instrument, which supports ventures from indigenous communities. The decision was adopted through exempt resolution No. 18, signed in Santiago on August 7, 2026, by the executive director of the Committee, Marco Ñanculeo Raguileo, and published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Chile on Thursday, August 20, 2026 (No. 44,529, pages 1 and 2, reference CVE 2854024).

The “Creciendo” instrument was created by agreement of the Committee’s Board of Directors in 2020, and its guidelines were approved by exempt electronic resolution No. 15 of 2024, which was in turn modified by exempt resolutions No. 13 and No. 20, both from 2025. The new resolution introduces changes to the technical and administrative rules of the program, which finances the productive development of indigenous communities and individuals.

Changes in co-financing

The main modification affects Section 1 “Technical Rules,” numeral 5 “Co-financing.” The third bullet point of the ninth paragraph is replaced to establish a minimum investment requirement:

• In the Individual Enabling Phase, at least 70% of the resources granted by the Committee must be allocated to the financing or co-financing of Investment or Working Capital expenses.

New application rules

In Section 2 “Administrative Rules,” numeral 2.1 “Application,” the first and seventh paragraphs are replaced to flexibilize access to the program. The instrument will be made available to interested parties under the modality of Competition or Permanent Application for any of its phases, with periods announced via notice on the Committee and/or Corfo website.

The call for applications must contain, at least, the following information:

• Identification of the instrument and the phase of the call.
• Application modality and territorial targeting.
• Date and location where the guidelines will be available.
• Start date for receiving applications and email for inquiries.
• Application method and closing date and time, if applicable.

Additionally, the ninth paragraph of numeral 2.1 “Application” is deleted, and a reference error in the numbering of the resolutive part of exempt resolution No. 15 of 2024 is corrected.

Publication and validity

The resolution stipulates that the corresponding notices be published and that the modification be made available to interested parties on the website www.comiteindigena.gob.cl once the act has been fully processed. Likewise, it orders the publication of the resolution in the “Transparent Government” banner of the www.corfo.cl site, in accordance with the Law on Transparency of Public Function.

The update of the guidelines for the “Creciendo” program is relevant for indigenous communities and individuals seeking financing for their ventures, as it redefines the required investment percentages and expands the application modalities, facilitating access to a key instrument for indigenous productive development in Chile.
