Corbera de Llobregat obre subvencions per a inversions d'entitats culturals

The City Council of Corbera de Llobregat has approved the specific guidelines for the granting of subsidies, under a competitive bidding process, intended for investments in properties and equipment of cultural entities for the year 2026. The agreement, adopted unanimously by the Local Governing Board in an ordinary session on August 3, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on September 8, 2026 (reference CVE 202610136888, general file 1141/2026).

The subsidy line, endowed with 50,000 euros charged to the budget application 33 334 78000 “Capital subsidy. Investment in cultural entities”, aims to promote the adaptation, improvement, modernization, and sustainability of the municipality’s cultural spaces. The guidelines are complementary to the General Subsidy Ordinance approved by the Municipal Plenary on May 10, 2005, and remain subject to the general subsidy Law 38/2003 and Royal Decree 887/2006, which develops its regulations.

Eligible actions and expenses

Investment actions linked to properties, facilities, or equipment owned by the beneficiary entities may be eligible for subsidies, provided they are intended for cultural, associative, or community activities of public interest. Eligible items include, among others:

  • Adaptation, rehabilitation, renovation, or improvement works for buildings, premises, rooms, scenic or multipurpose spaces.
  • Technical and technological improvements, including sound, lighting, projection, audiovisual, and connectivity equipment.
  • Acoustic and thermal insulation actions, improvement of the building envelope, roofs, facades, windows, and climate control.
  • Installation or improvement of photovoltaic panels, self-consumption systems, and batteries.
  • Security actions, fire prevention, accessibility, and removal of architectural barriers.
  • Technical fees for project drafting, studies, site management, and legalizations.

Ordinary operating expenses, current maintenance, minor repairs without an investment character, consumable materials, and ordinary or festive activities will not be eligible for subsidies.

Beneficiaries and amount

Non-profit cultural entities that are duly constituted, registered in the Municipal Registry of Entities as a cultural entity, own the property where the action will be carried out, and dedicate it to cultural, associative, or community purposes of municipal public interest may be beneficiaries. It will also be necessary to be up to date with tax obligations and Social Security, and to have no pending municipal subsidies for justification.

The amount of the grant may not exceed the cost of the action nor the amount requested, and shall not exceed 50% of the cost of the action, with a maximum of 25,000 euros per beneficiary entity. The distribution of the credit will be carried out proportionally to the score obtained by each applicant, applying these limits in all cases.

Deadline and procedure

Applications must be submitted by electronic means through the City Council’s electronic office, within a deadline of ten business days counted from the day following the publication of the call in the official gazette. When the amount of the expense exceeds 30,000 euros in construction costs, or 12,000 euros in the supply of goods or services, the entity must request at least three offers from different providers.

The competent body for the ordering and resolution of the procedure is the Local Government Board, while the instruction of the file will correspond to the Evaluation Commission designated in the call, which must include at least one representative or technical person from the municipal Culture area. The agreement bears the signature of the mayor, Rosa Boladeras Serraviñals.

The call represents an opportunity for cultural entities in Corbera de Llobregat to improve their spaces and equipment, with special attention to energy efficiency, accessibility, and safety. With a budget of 50,000 euros and a maximum of 25,000 per entity, the council reinforces its support for the associative and cultural fabric of the municipality in a year marked by the modernization of its premises.
