Copenhagen court reopens TrueDreams bankruptcy estate and appoints new trustee
Por FactBox Admin

The bankruptcy division of the Copenhagen Maritime and Commercial Court (Sø- og Handelsretten, Skifteretten) has resumed the administration of the TrueDreams ApS estate, reopening a case first decided by decree on 5 December 2024. The decision of 23 June 2026, published in Statstidende on 6 October 2026 under reference S02102026-50, appoints a new trustee and opens a fresh window for creditors to register their claims.
The notice appears in the “Konkursboer” (bankruptcy estates) section of Statstidende, Denmark’s official gazette for legal announcements, issued by Civilstyrelsen under the Justitsministeriet. The estate concerns TrueDreams ApS, registered under CVR number 39549336 and based at Liselundager 8F, 2640 Hedehusene, with the case registered as K 2896/24-F.
A resumption of estate administration is an unusual step: it means the court has decided that the winding-up must be taken up again after the original decree, which normally brings the practical administration of a bankrupt company to a close. The gazette notice does not state the grounds for the decision, nor does it quantify the estate’s assets or liabilities.
New trustee and case details
- Trustee appointed: attorney Michael Schebye Brandt-Jensen, Amerika Plads 37, 2100 København Ø.

- Case number: K 2896/24-F.
- Original bankruptcy decree: 5 December 2024.
- Decision to resume the estate administration: 23 June 2026.

Deadlines set for creditors
Any person holding a claim or other right against the debtor is called upon to notify the estate’s trustee within four weeks of the announcement, with the claim calculated as at the bankruptcy date. The notification should be accompanied by documentation of the claim.
No meeting has been scheduled for the election of a trustee or for the establishment of a creditors’ committee. A creditor wishing to request such a meeting must submit the request in writing to the bankruptcy division of the Sø- og Handelsretten within three weeks of the announcement.
Why the reopening matters
Because the estate has been reopened, the claim-registration process starts again for creditors who have not yet had their claims examined, and the trustee’s mandate is renewed under a new appointment. The deadlines are short and run from publication of the notice on 6 October 2026, so claims and any request for a creditors’ committee must be filed promptly with the trustee and the court respectively.
For readers with a commercial relationship to TrueDreams ApS, the practical consequence is that the case is once again active before the Copenhagen court, and that any outstanding claim must be documented and submitted in writing to the trustee at Amerika Plads 37, 2100 København Ø, calculated as at the bankruptcy date.
