Copenhagen court declares Tørsleff Manpower bankrupt with four-week claims deadline

Sø- og Handelsretten has taken HANS TØRSLEFF MANPOWER ApS into bankruptcy by decree of 3 November 2026, appointing lawyer Henrik Bernt Sanders as trustee of the estate. The order was published in Statstidende on 5 November 2026 under the reference S03112026-220, in the bankruptcy notices section, and sets a four-week window for creditors to register their claims.
The company, registered under CVR 30807960 at Gammel Kongevej 161, 1850 Frederiksberg C, was placed under bankruptcy proceedings on the basis of a request received the same day, 3 November 2026, from its liquidator. The case is listed by the court as K 2681/26-D and is handled by Sø- og Handelsrettens skifteret, the bankruptcy division sitting at Amaliegade 35, 2nd floor, 1256 København K.
The decree follows the standard form used by the Copenhagen maritime and commercial court for insolvency orders, which fixes the trustee, the deadlines and the procedural rights of creditors in a single published notice.
Trustee appointed to administer the estate
Henrik Bernt Sanders, a lawyer with offices at Amaliegade 10, 1256 København K, has been appointed trustee (kurator) of the estate. His role is to take control of the company’s assets, review the claims filed against it and administer the distribution to creditors.
The decree states that no meeting has been scheduled for the election of a trustee or for the appointment of a creditors’ committee. Any creditor wishing to have such a meeting convened must submit a written request to Sø- og Handelsrettens skifteret within three weeks of the notice.
Four weeks to file claims
Creditors holding a claim or any other right against the debtor are invited to notify the trustee. The notice sets out the following terms:
- Claims must be filed within four weeks of the publication of the decree in Statstidende.
- Each claim must be stated as it stood on the date of the bankruptcy order.
- The notification should be accompanied by documentation supporting the claim.
- A request to convene a meeting on the choice of trustee or the creation of a creditors’ committee must reach the bankruptcy division in writing within three weeks.
Claims that miss the four-week window are not registered within the ordinary procedure, which makes the deadline the operative date for suppliers, landlords, former employees and other parties with outstanding invoices.
A steady flow of insolvency decrees
The bankruptcy was announced in the Konkursboer section of Statstidende, the official Danish gazette in which court-issued insolvency decrees, probate notices, debt-relief orders and forced-sale announcements must be published to take legal effect.
The same issue carries dozens of other bankruptcy decrees from the Sø- og Handelsretten and from other bankruptcy divisions across the country, most of them following the identical template: company name, CVR number, address, case number, trustee and the two standard deadlines.
For HANS TØRSLEFF MANPOWER ApS, the practical consequence is that the company’s affairs now pass from its liquidator to a court-appointed trustee, and that its assets and liabilities will be administered within a public bankruptcy estate rather than in a private winding-up.
The publication is the formal point of departure for creditors: from 5 November 2026 the clock runs on the four weeks allowed for filing claims, and any creditor who has not received direct notification must rely on the gazette notice to know where and by when to act. For staff, customers and suppliers in the Copenhagen area, the decree also marks the moment when outstanding payments become claims in an estate whose recovery rate will depend on the assets the trustee is able to realise.
