Renewal of the Substitute Justice of the Peace of Zarza de Granadilla convened

The High Court of Justice of Extremadura has called for the renewal of the position of Substitute Justice of the Peace for the town of Zarza de Granadilla, belonging to the judicial district of Plasencia. Interested parties will have a period of twenty calendar days to submit their applications, counting from the day following the publication of the edict in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres.

How to submit the application

Applications must be submitted to the Court of First Instance of the Judicial District, written on plain paper and addressed to the Most Excellent Mrs. President of the High Court of Justice in Extremadura, based in Cáceres. The twenty-calendar-day period begins to be counted from the day following the publication of the edict, whether in the official gazette or through its display on the corresponding notice board.

The application must include the following personal and professional data:

• Full name.
• D.N.I. (National ID).
• Address.
• Studies completed.
• Current profession.

Required documentation

Along with the application, candidates must attach a series of documents proving their suitability for the exercise of the position. The criminal record certificate will be incorporated ex officio by the Secretariat, issued by the Central Registry of Convicts and Fugitives of the Ministry of Justice through the corresponding electronic application.

The documents that must accompany the application are as follows:

• A) Birth certificate or photocopy of the D.N.I.
• B) Medical certificate stating that the applicant does not suffer from any illness that incapacitates them from exercising the position of Justice of the Peace.
• C) Sworn statement of not being subject to any cause of incompatibility.
• D) Sworn statement of their current profession.
