Call for the selection of final destination for 130 internal promotion officials

The Department of Finance and Public Administration of the Xunta de Galicia has called for the choice of definitive destination for the candidates who passed the selection processes for entry via the internal promotion quota in the bodies of the general Administration of the Autonomous Community. The call, signed on September 11, 2026, by the Director General of Public Employment and Personnel Administration, Nuria Aguilar Vázquez, was published in the Official Gazette of Galicia number 176, of September 16, 2026 (p. 48956), with the reference CVE-DOG: e67ers08-gxx6-qcm1-f7z7-pl6ffyc7pgz1.

The resolution is issued by delegation, in accordance with the Order of January 8, 2020, on the delegation of powers in the General Directorate of the Public Service. The selection processes were called through the resolutions of November 16, 2023 (DOG no. 222, of November 22), with a correction of errors in the case of subgroup C2 in DOG no. 79, of April 22.

Who is called

According to Annex I of the resolution, 130 people passed the processes and are called for the choice of destination, distributed by subgroups:

• 10 candidates from the superior body (subgroup A1).
• 33 candidates from the management body (subgroup A2).
• 38 candidates from the administrative body (subgroup C1).
• 49 candidates from the auxiliary body (subgroup C2).

The order of precedence for the allocation is determined by the classification order appearing in the Basic Statute of the Public Employee: superior body (A1), management (A2), administrative (C1), auxiliary (C2) and professional group. The offered positions and the requirements for their occupation appear in Annex II of the resolution.

How the choice is made

The General Directorate of the Public Service will send each candidate an electronic message with the username and access key to the application for each process. Within a maximum period of two business days from publication, anyone who does not correctly receive the data must contact the IT service of the General Directorate of Public Employment and Personnel Administration at the telephone number 881 99 98 83.

After that period, a period of three business days will open for the people in Annex I to electronically choose the offered destinations by order of precedence, through the electronic system enabled on the general directorate’s website. Upon accessing the electronic file, each candidate must choose between three options:

• “Renunciation”: submitted in writing to the Registry of the Xunta de Galicia, excludes them from the process and causes the right to be appointed as career civil service personnel to lapse.
• “Request for leave of absence”: for those who meet the requirements of Article 174 of Law 2/2015, of April 29, on public employment in Galicia.
• “Choose position”: selection, by order of preference, of the offered destinations.

Allocation and appeals

Once the deadline has expired, the application will carry out the automatic allocation of destinations based on the subgroup and the order of precedence achieved, taking into account the expressed preference. The final allocation will be resolved by a resolution of the competent department and will be published in the DOG. Those who do not submit the application within the deadline or are not allocated any destination will receive the positions corresponding to them among those that remain unallocated.

Against the resolution, which ends the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the Minister of Finance and Public Administration within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of Galicia within two months.

This call closes the cycle of internal promotion selection processes started in 2023 and allows 130 civil servants to consolidate a definitive destination in the autonomous Administration, in a selection process carried out entirely electronically.
