Vacancies for Local Police inspector are announced in five Galician municipalities

The General Directorate of the Galician Academy of Public Security (AGASP), of the Department of Presidency, Justice and Sports, announces vacancies for inspector of the executive scale of the Local Police forces of Galicia through internal promotion and mobility. The resolution, dated September 2, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense on October 15, 2026, in section III. Autonomous Community, with reference R. 2.327. In view of the call and its modification, the number and characteristics of the vacancies are established as follows:

• Vigo: 3 vacancies via internal promotion and 1 via mobility.
• Santiago de Compostela: 3 vacancies via internal promotion.
• Ferrol: 2 vacancies via internal promotion.
• Vilagarcía de Arousa: 1 vacancy via internal promotion.
• Teo: 1 vacancy via internal promotion.

In total, the offer adds up to 10 internal promotion vacancies and 1 mobility vacancy, eleven in total, distributed among the provinces of Pontevedra, A Coruña, and Ourense.

Two differentiated processes

The resolution articulates two distinct itineraries. The first is the selective process for access via internal promotion, with code PR461F, and the second is the provision process via mobility, with code PR461J. Both refer to the executive scale, inspector category, of the Local Police forces of Galicia.
