Conservador provincial: primeiro exercicio o 27 de novembro con dezaseis admitidos

The Provincial Council of Pontevedra has approved the final list of admitted and excluded applicants in the selection process convened to fill one position as provincial conservator, appointed the qualifying tribunal, and set the dates for its constitution and the performance of the first exercise. The resolution, signed by the deputy with delegated powers from the Presidency regarding personnel matters, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) no. 209, dated October 29, 2026, with the official reference 2026075474.

The position is identified by the code CL2026M and is part of the special administration scale, technical subscale, superior class, under file 2026044862. Applicants must present themselves provided with a national identity document or another reliable document proving their identity, as well as the material means necessary for the practice of each test.

Abstentions, recusals and appeal channels

Members of the tribunal must abstain from intervening, notifying the chairperson, when any of the circumstances of article 23 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, occur, or when they have performed preparation tasks for applicants during the five years prior to the publication of the call. Applicants may recuse members in accordance with article 24 of the same regulation.

An optional appeal for reversal may be filed against the resolution before the same body within one month, or an appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Court of First Instance of Pontevedra within two months, according to article 46 of Law 29/98, of July 13.

The admission phase of a process directly affecting the Heritage service of the Deputación de Pontevedra and a senior technical position within the provincial museum scope has been closed. For the sixteen admitted persons, the calendar is now firm: less than three weeks remain for the constitution of the tribunal and slightly less than a month for the first exercise, with a composition that combines museum staff and teachers specialized in conservation and restoration.
