Concluido el concurso de Piscifactoría del Iregua por inexistencia de bienes

The Court of First Instance No. 6 of Logroño has declared the bankruptcy proceedings of Piscifactoría del Iregua, S.L. concluded due to the non-existence of assets and rights of the debtor, further agreeing to the extinction of the company’s legal personality and the cancellation of its registration in the Mercantile Registry. The decision is contained in the order of January 28, 2026, which is now final, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Mercantile Registry (BORME) No. 184, of September 23, 2026, First Section, page 44839, under announcement number 425824.

The announcement is registered in the First Section of the gazette, dedicated to the registered acts of entrepreneurs, under the heading corresponding to La Rioja. The bankruptcy procedure processed is 0001183/2022, handled before the same judicial body with magistrate Rafael Yanguela Criado as the presiding judge. The registry publication reports both the conclusion of the bankruptcy and the revocation of the bankruptcy administrators appointed during the procedure.

The judicial resolution

The order of January 28, 2026, declares the conclusion of the bankruptcy due to the non-existence of assets and rights of the debtor, which prevents the payment of outstanding credits against the company. The resolution agrees, in the same ruling:

  • The extinction of the legal personality of Piscifactoría del Iregua, S.L.
  • The cancellation of its registration in the Mercantile Registry
  • The revocation of the bankruptcy administrators
  • The confirmation that the resolution is final

The bankruptcy administrator affected by the revocation is Javier Gómez Garrido, with NIF 16614049E, whose tenure dates back to the appointment agreed upon on January 23, 2023. The registry data recorded in the announcement are S 8, H LO 1154, I/A 9, with the entry date of September 16, 2026.

Chronology of the procedure

The bankruptcy of the Riojan company dates back to late 2022. The order declaring voluntary bankruptcy, dated December 12, 2022, agreed to the opening of the liquidation phase, with the dissolution of the debtor and the removal of its administrators, who were replaced by the bankruptcy administration. That resolution was published in BORME No. 3, of January 4, 2023, page 701, under announcement number 6840, and it lists the removed joint administrators, Rufino del Olmo Alcaide and Rosa Ana del Olmo Alcaide.

Subsequently, the order of October 25, 2023, declared the end of the common phase of the bankruptcy and agreed to the opening of the sixth section for qualification, a step reflected in BORME No. 240, of December 13, 2024, under announcement number 541379. The qualification section examines the actions of the debtor and its administrators in relation to the insolvency.

Effects for creditors and for the Riojan business fabric

The conclusion due to the absence of assets implies that the company disappears from legal traffic without any estate with which to satisfy the creditors recognized in the proceedings. The cancellation of the registration in the Mercantile Registry formally closes the registry life of the company, which had been declared in liquidation since the start of the insolvency proceedings.

The company was listed in the Mercantile Registry of La Rioja and had submitted its annual accounts in previous financial years, according to the filings published in the BORME in 2010 and 2011. Its definitive disappearance reduces the number of companies in the aquaculture sector of the province and leaves creditors who did not obtain satisfaction during the liquidation without payment.

The publication of the conclusion in the BORME is the act of publicity that provides certainty to third parties regarding the extinction of the company and the impossibility of claiming against it. For creditors, the announcement confirms the closure of the proceedings without payment; for the market, it represents the registry deregistration of a company that operated in the aquaculture sector in La Rioja.
