CONAMI authorizes CREDIJIREH as a pawn lender in Managua

The National Microfinance Commission (CONAMI) authorized the registration of Reynaldo Antonio Alegría Gutiérrez as a Pawn and/or Loan Service Provider, natural person, known by the trade name CREDIJIREH, in the National Registry of Pawn and/or Loan Service Providers attached to the entity. The authorization, which allows him to operate starting in August 2026, is contained in Resolution CD-CONAMI-053-07JUL30-2026, approved in ordinary session No. 07-2026 on July 30, 2026, and published in La Gaceta, Official Gazette No. 168, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
The resolution was certified by Álvaro José Contreras, Secretary of the Board of Directors of CONAMI, and signed by President Jim Madriz López and members Freddy José Cruz Cortez, Alejandra Leonor Corea Bradford, Flavio Chiong Aráuz, and Denis Reyna Estrada.
Regulatory Framework
The registration is based on Law No. 977, “Law Against Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing, and the Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction,” and its amendments introduced by Laws No. 1215 and No. 1282, which define Pawn and/or Loan Service Providers as entities supervised by CONAMI. The process is governed by Resolution CD-CONAMI-055-01NOV28-2024, “Registration Standard for Pawn and/or Loan Service Providers,” published in La Gaceta No. 238 on December 23, 2024.

The interested party, residing in the municipality of Managua and holding identity card 001-170175-0074J, submitted his registration request on May 12, 2026, accrediting his status through Public Deed Number 68, of Constitution as a Moneylender, granted in Managua on June 4, 2025, before notary Bertha Lilliam Delgadillo Sandino and registered in the Public Property Registry of Managua under Registry Account MC-XI13R3.

Effects of the Authorization
The resolution stipulates that the authorization is subject to compliance with the provisions issued by CONAMI as the regulatory body. Once published in La Gaceta, the provider must submit a request for the issuance of their registration certificate to CONAMI, accompanied by a copy of the official publication. The document bears registration number 2026-00840 and a value of C$ 380.00.
The measure expands the offer of collateralized loans in Managua, a segment that CONAMI supervises within the framework of anti-money laundering prevention. For users, the official registration of CREDIJIREH guarantees that the lender operates under the registration and supervision of the regulator, with the obligations of transparency and regulatory compliance that this entails.
