National Irrigation Commission publishes results of irrigation works tenders

The National Irrigation Commission, under the Undersecretariat of Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture, published the results of the irrigation and drainage works competitions corresponding to Law No. 18,450. The announcement, signed by the Acting Executive Director Marianela Matta Lagos, was disseminated in Section IV of the Official Gazette of the Republic of Chile on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

The lists with the scores assigned to the Admitted and Not Admitted projects were made available to applicants on the publication date, available on the agency’s website (www.cnr.gob.cl).

Regulatory Framework

The call for applications is part of the Promotion of Private Investment in Irrigation and Drainage Works program, regulated by Law No. 18,450, which provides state bonuses to small and medium-sized farmers and irrigators for the construction and improvement of irrigation infrastructure. The National Irrigation Commission acts as the executing body, evaluating and assigning scores to the submitted projects.

Published Competitions

The official notice reports two competitions whose results were published on the same day:

• Competition No. 10-2026 — First civil works competition of the south, with a Final list.
• Competition No. 11-2026 — Competition for INDAP peasants, with a Preliminary list.

Both lists, for both Admitted and Not Admitted projects, were made available on the National Irrigation Commission website (www.cnr.gob.cl) for consultation by interested parties.

Relevance for Irrigators

The publication of these results is key for farmers and irrigators in the south of the country and for INDAP beneficiaries, who will be able to learn the score allocation and the status of their applications. The preliminary list for the INDAP peasant competition anticipates the observations stage before the final resolution, while the final list for the southern civil works competition closes the evaluation stage of that call.
