The National Commission for the Registration and Control of Toxic Substances (CNRCST) published in La Gaceta, Official Gazette No. 169, on Thursday, September 10, 2026, seven registration edicts for agricultural insecticides and fungicides of Chinese origin. The products, requested by four companies, are authorized for commercialization within the national territory once legal requirements are met.
The edicts are issued in accordance with Law No. 941, “Law Creating the National Commission for the Registration and Control of Toxic Substances,” and Law No. 274, “Basic Law for the Regulation and Control of Pesticides, Toxic, Dangerous, and Other Similar Substances,” and its Regulation “Decree 49-98.” The documents are signed by the president of the CNRCST, María Auxiliadora Díaz Castillo, and the executive secretary, Eng. Yelba de los A. López González, with the intervention of the lawyer and notary Fátima del Socorro Ruíz Obando.
Requesting companies and products
The requests come from four firms in the agrochemical sector, three of which are linked to the distribution of inputs of Chinese origin:
- AGROPECUARIA EL FUTURO, S.A. (AGROFUTURO, S.A.) — two products.
- JEBAGRO GBMH — three products.
- ARCADIA GROUP INTERNATIONAL CORP. — one product.
- NGC AGROSCIENCES PANAMA, S.A. — one product.
Registered agricultural insecticides
Three of the edicts correspond to agricultural insecticides, all originating from the People’s Republic of China:

- ZAGUERO 60 FS (common name THIODICARB + IMIDACLOPRID), requested by AGROFUTURO, with registration Reg. 2026-825.
- SUPERSONIC 45.20 SC (common name FLONICAMID + SPIROTETRAMAT), requested by JEBAGRO, with registration Reg. 2026-855.
Registered fungicides and bactericides
The remaining four edicts correspond to agricultural fungicides, also of Chinese origin:

- UPSWING C 28 SC (common name PICOXYSTROBIN + CYPROCONAZOLE), requested by ARCADIA, with registration Reg. 2026-854.
- DUO BAC 18 SC (common name KASUGAMYCIN + OXOLINIC ACID), requested by JEBAGRO, with registration Reg. 2026-856, classified as a fungicide-bactericide.
- AGROHERO 30 EC (common name TEBUCONAZOLE + TRIADIMENOL), requested by NGC AGROSCIENCES PANAMA, with registration Reg. 2026-864.
Legal framework and scope
The edicts, identified by references COM-ED-088-08-2026, COM-ED-089-08-2026, COM-ED-090-08-2026, COM-ED-092-08-2026, COM-ED-093-08-2026, COM-ED-094-08-2026, and COM-ED-095-09-2026, were signed in Managua between August 18 and September 2, 2026. In all cases, the CNRCST authorizes publication in any written medium of national circulation, after verifying that the applicants submitted the required documentation.
The expansion of the catalog of registered agrochemicals increases the offer of phytosanitary inputs available to the national agricultural sector, within a context of growing presence of Chinese suppliers in the pesticide market. For producers and distributors, official registration guarantees that the products comply with current toxic substance control regulations before their use in crops.
