Ciudad Real nombra funcionarios de carrera para seis plazas de Policía Local

The City Council of Ciudad Real has appointed as career civil servants the candidates who passed the selection process to permanently fill six Local Police positions through the open competitive examination system. The resolution of the delegated councilor for the Area of Finance and Personnel is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 200, dated October 16, 2026, under file AYTOCR2026/39847 and announcement number 3339.

The announcement, signed in Ciudad Real on October 9, 2026, by the head of the Support Body for the Local Government Board, Cristina Moya Sánchez, is based on article 25.2 of Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10, which approves the General Regulations for the Entry of Personnel into the Service of the General State Administration and the Provision of Job Positions and Professional Promotion of Civil Servants of the General State Administration.

The positions correspond to the 2024 public employment offer and are classified in group C, subgroup C1, Special Administration scale, Special Services subscale, Local Police class. At the regional level, the Regulations of the Local Police Coordination Law of Castilla-La Mancha, approved by Decree 110/2006, sets a fifteen-day deadline for city councils to formalize the appointment once the report from the Citizen Protection School has been received.

The same issue of the gazette includes, on page 9802, a complementary appointment: that of Enrique Francisco Gimeno Osorio as a career civil servant for a Local Police position filled by a competitive merit-based process in the internal promotion track.

The appointed candidates

The announcement lists the candidates appointed as career civil servants, all of whom are included in the 2024 public employment offer and assigned to the position of Local Police:

  • José Antonio Pérez Fernández, with DNI *8517.
  • Bárbara Jabón Sanz, with DNI *1798.
  • Miguel Ángel Fernández-Pacheco Nieto, with DNI *2040.
  • Carlos García Carrizo, with DNI *1707.

Professional classification and destination

All appointments refer to the position of Local Police and are integrated into the civil servant staff of the City Council of Ciudad Real. The classification is identical in all cases: group C, subgroup C1, Special Administration scale, Special Services subscale, and Local Police class.

Access is granted through the open competitive examination system, the ordinary route of entry into local security forces, which requires passing the selective tests convened for this purpose. The resolution concludes the selection process and formalizes the status of career civil servant for the candidates who have passed.

Publication and effects

The announcement is made public for the purposes provided for in Article 25.2 of Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10. Publication in the official bulletin constitutes the procedure that gives effectiveness and publicity to the appointments and allows them to be known by the interested parties.

The text appears in Section I, Local Administration, within the City Councils section, under the heading Ciudad Real, and bears announcement number 3339. The resolution is electronically signed and its authenticity can be verified through the electronic office of the Provincial Council.

With these appointments, the City Council of Ciudad Real reinforces the staff of the Local Police force with personnel who enter via the open competition track after passing the competitive examination, a procedure that guarantees the principles of equality, merit, and capacity. The incorporation of new officers directly impacts the operational capacity of the service and the public safety of the municipality.
