Ciudad Real announces 30,000 euros in grants for teaching centers

The City Council of Ciudad Real has published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real (number 168, dated September 2, 2026) the summary of the call for grants destined for educational centers in the municipality for the 2026 fiscal year. The call, processed under a competitive bidding regime, has a credit of 30,000 euros, expandable by an additional amount of 15,000 euros, and is aimed at educational activities for Early Childhood and Primary Education.

The announcement, identified by number 2807 and registered in the National Grants Database with the identifier 927179, is published in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17. Purpose and beneficiaries

The purpose of the call is to regulate the granting of aid to collaborate in and promote the implementation of educational activities during the year 2026. Educational centers that meet the requirements of the guidelines may apply:

• Public, private, and semi-private (concertados) centers.
• Those providing Early Childhood and/or Primary Education.
• Located in the municipality of Ciudad Real and its annexes.

Budgetary credit

The total amount of 30,000 euros will be charged to the budgetary application 8.3260.48002, titled “Educational Centers Education Activities Grant,” of the Department of Education and University, charged to the 2026 budget. In accordance with article 58.2 of the Regulations of the General Grants Law (Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21), a maximum additional amount of 15,000 euros is also established, the application of which will not require a new call.

The effectiveness of this additional amount is conditional upon the declaration of credit availability and, where applicable, the prior approval of the corresponding budgetary modification, always prior to the granting resolution.

Deadline and submission

The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days, counting from the day following the publication of the guidelines in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real and in the National Grants Database. Applications shall be formalized according to the models of the call, addressed to the Mayor-President of the City Council of Ciudad Real and signed by the legal representative of the entity, submitted through the municipal electronic office.

Regulatory framework

The guidelines are based on the Regulatory Text of the General Bases for the granting of subsidies by the City Council of Ciudad Real and its autonomous bodies, approved in the plenary session of February 27, 2026, and published in the BOP number 42, of March 3, 2026. The document is electronically signed by the Head of the BOP Section, Juan Luis Cuadros Campo.

The call represents direct support for the municipality’s educational network, allowing public, private, and semi-private (concertados) schools to finance complementary activities in the Early Childhood and Primary stages. With a budget that can reach 45,000 euros, the measure strengthens the council’s collaboration with the centers in a school year marked by the need to expand the educational offer.
