Ciudad Real abre la convocatoria 2026 de 6.000 euros para prevenir adicciones

The Local Government Board of the Ciudad Real City Council approved in the session of November 3, 2026, the 2026 call for grants for the development of prevention and awareness projects regarding addictions, with a budget of 6,000 euros. The summary of the agreement is published in the BOP of Ciudad Real number 214, dated November 5, 2026, in the City Councils section, pages 10,424 and 10,425. The call is identified in the National Grants Database with the number BDNS 939700.

The publication is based on articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17, which require the publication of the summary of every call and the submission of the full text to the National Grants Publicity System. The agreement is part of the City Council’s current Municipal Addictions Plan, which serves as the reference for local policy on this matter and with which the subsidized proposals must be coordinated.

6,000 euros for the 2026/27 school year

The total allocation for the call amounts to 6,000.00 euros, charged to the budgetary application 2312.48018, titled “Competitive grant to entities within the framework of the local addictions prevention Plan,” from the municipal budget for the 2026 financial year. The objective is to promote prevention and awareness projects against addictions, both substance-based and behavioral, aimed directly or indirectly at the adolescent and youth collective of the city.

The execution period for the projects spans from September 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027, so that the activities cover the entire 2026/27 school year. The applicable regulatory bases are the General Ordinance regulating the bases for the granting of subsidies by the Ciudad Real City Council and its autonomous bodies, published in the BOP of Ciudad Real number 184, dated September 24, 2026.

Three modalities of participation

Each entity may submit a single application, provided it falls within one of the three planned modalities:

  • Projects aimed at students or teachers of ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education), Vocational Training, and Bachillerato (or equivalents), to be offered and developed within the educational centers themselves, in collaboration with the Municipal Addictions Plan.
  • Projects aimed at adolescents and youth regarding care and counseling for problems with substance and behavioral addictions, and derived health risks, in collaboration with the Municipal Addictions Plan, the Department of Youth, or the Department of Social Action.
  • Other intervention, prevention, and awareness projects aimed at adolescents and youth at risk of social exclusion, and their families.

Associations, entities, and organizations with legal personality and non-profit status may apply for the grants provided that, among other requirements, they are legally constituted and registered in the Municipal Registry of Entities of the Ciudad Real City Council at the time of submitting the application. They must also reflect in their bylaws purposes linked to the field of addictions, prove sufficient structure with experience and operational capacity, and have a registered office or permanent delegation in the municipality of Ciudad Real.

Ten calendar days deadline

The deadline for submitting applications is ten calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the summary in the BOP of Ciudad Real; therefore, counting from November 5, it ends on November 15, 2026. Applications and accompanying documentation must be submitted electronically through the municipal electronic office, in the grants section of the Youth area, without prejudice to the provisions of Article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

The full text of the call and its annexes can be consulted both on the electronic office of the Ciudad Real City Council and via the link to the call BDNS 939700 enabled in the National Grant Publicity System.

The call is of interest to the associative fabric of the capital, which competes for the only municipal line specifically destined for the prevention of addictions in the adolescent and youth population. The amount, limited to 6,000 euros over a nine-month calendar, forces entities to adjust their proposals and coordinate with educational centers and the involved departments to reach the students of the 2026/27 academic year.
