Cinca Medio initially approves the 2026 General Budget

The Cinca Medio Regional Council, in an ordinary session held on September 7, 2026, has initially approved the General Budget, the Execution Bases, and the Personnel Staffing Table for the 2026 fiscal year. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca, number 174, dated September 11, 2026, with the official reference BOPH-2026-174008.
Public exhibition and allegations
In accordance with the provisions of Article 169 of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries (TRLRHL) and Article 20 of Royal Decree 500/1990, of April 20, the file and the mandatory documentation shall be open to the public for a period of fifteen days from the publication of the announcement.
During this period, the file may be examined so that any allegations deemed appropriate may be formulated. In accordance with the adopted agreement, the Budget will be considered definitively approved if no allegations are presented during the aforementioned period.
Content of the agreement
The initially approved agreement comprises the three instruments that define the economic and personnel activity of the region for the entire fiscal year:
- General Budget of the Entity for 2026, which sets the projected expenditure and income.
- Execution Bases, which regulate the management and settlement of the budget.
- Personnel Staffing Table, which determines the positions and staff of the entity.
Processing and signature
The announcement appears signed in Monzón on September 9, 2026, by the president of the region, Jose Maria Civiac Moreno, and is inserted in the Local Administration section, Regional Councils subsection, of the provincial gazette.
The initial approval opens the citizen participation phase prior to the entry into force of the accounts, so that residents and entities of the region can review the file and present allegations before the budget is definitively approved and governs the regional services throughout the 2026 fiscal year.
