The edict, published on Tuesday, 18 August 2026 in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville (No. 159), states that the Governing Council of the entity agreed to the initial approval of the regulation at an extraordinary and urgent session held on 30 July 2026.

The document has been electronically signed by Ana Mª Carmona Lancharro, Vice-President of the Agency, acting under the delegation of powers conferred by Presidential Resolution No. 2023/51 of 30 June 2023, published in BOP Seville No. 153 of 5 July 2023.

The edict establishes that citizens, sports groups and any interested parties may examine the full file and the complete text of the regulation for a period of 30 working days, counted from the day following the publication of the notice in the provincial gazette. During this period, any allegations and suggestions deemed appropriate may be submitted.

If no allegations are submitted during the period, the approval, provisional until then, shall be deemed to have been finally approved.

Scope and relevance for the city

The new regulation, which affects the use, access and conditions of public sports facilities in the city of Écija, represents a regulatory update of direct scope for all users of these facilities and for local sports clubs. Its final approval will depend on the absence of allegations within the open period or, failing that, on the resolution of such allegations by the Agency. This type of regulation seeks to organise the management of municipal facilities and establish a common framework of rights and obligations for citizens.
