Chimillas makes the nursery school ordinance final

The Chimillas City Council has made final the modification of the Fiscal Ordinance Regulating the Fee for the provision of the “Virgen del Rosario” early childhood education school service, as no claims were submitted during the public exhibition period. The agreement, adopted by the plenary session on July 6, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 161, dated August 25, 2026, with reference BOPH-2026-161005.
The decision, signed by Mayor Miguel Ángel Torres Palacín on August 24, 2026, is based on article 17.4 of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. The file processed by the municipal Secretariat is numbered 1854816J and the council’s NIF is P2213400A.
New nursery school rates
The ordinance sets the tax quota based on the services provided, with an increase linked to the maintenance costs of the school. The approved rates are as follows:
- Annual enrollment: €100
- Annual fee for school materials (children over 1 year old): €40
- Full schedule from 8:00 to 16:00: €200/month
- Morning schedule from 8:00 to 12:00: €115
- Morning schedule from 8:00 to 14:00: €171
- Dining service during morning schedule (excluding food): €15
Occasional attendance and extra hours
For families who do not require full-time service, the ordinance provides a fee for attendance on individual days, with a maximum of 10 days per month:
- Full schedule from 8:00 to 16:00: €11/day
- Morning schedule from 8:00 to 12:00: €6/day
An amount for extra hours over the applicable rate is also established, at €3 for up to two additional hours and €6 for up to four more hours. Meal expenses in the case of external service will be charged monthly to each user based on the number of meals consumed, and the menu price will be set at the beginning of the course.
Appeals process
Against the agreement, and in accordance with article 19 of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Aragon within two months from the day following the publication of the announcement, in accordance with article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, of the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction.
The entry into force of the new quotas directly affects the families using the Chimillas nursery school, who must adjust their monthly budget to the approved rates. The final publication in the provincial gazette provides legal certainty to the service and closes the administrative procedure initiated with the provisional agreement of the plenary.
