Por FactBox Admin

The Chiloeches City Council has awarded UFD Distribución Electricidad, S.A. the administrative concession for the private use of a municipal public domain asset located in the vicinity of Camino de la Vega, for the purpose of installing and maintaining an electrical sectioning center. The decision was adopted by the municipal Plenary in a session held on September 2, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 174, dated September 11, 2026.
The processing is part of administrative file 957/2026, which provides for the granting of the concession through a direct award procedure. The plenary agreement, signed by Mayor Marcos Cascajero Cascajero on September 8, 2026, initially approves the Specifications (Pliego de Condiciones) that shall govern the concession and awards the private use of the asset to the electricity company.
Object and conditions of the concession
The Specifications, incorporated into the file as an integral document, regulate the essential elements of the concession, including:
- The object and the surface area of the affected public domain asset.
- The purpose of the installation of the electrical sectioning center.
- The duration of the concession and the fee to be paid.
- The required guarantee and the technical conditions of the installation.
- The obligations of the concessionaire and the inspection regime.
- Liability, termination, and the removal or reversion of the installations.
The award is conditional upon the final approval of the Specifications once the public exhibition period has concluded.
Public information process
The plenary agreement submits both the agreement itself and the Specifications to public information for a period of thirty days, via an announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara, on the notice board, and on the City Council’s electronic office. Once this period has ended, if no objections are presented, the specifications will be understood as definitively approved, and the concession will be formalized in an administrative document.
The Plenary has authorized the mayor-president to sign the administrative document formalizing the concession and any documents necessary for the execution of the agreement. Likewise, it has been agreed to update the Municipal Asset Inventory, recording the public domain encumbrance established on the reference plot.
Relevance for the municipality
The installation of an electrical sectioning center on Camino de la Vega reinforces the electrical distribution infrastructure of Chiloeches, a growing municipality in the Corredor del Henares. The concession will allow UFD Distribución Electricidad to operate in a regularized manner on a public domain asset, guaranteeing the supply and capacity of the network in response to the residential and industrial demand of the area.
