Ceuta publishes the provisional list of admitted candidates for Prevention Technician

The Counselor of Presidency and Governance of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, Alberto Ramón Gaitán Rodríguez, has approved by Decree dated September 1, 2026, the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates for the provision of one position as Intermediate Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention. The resolution, published in the Official Gazette of the City of Ceuta (BOCCE) number 6,650 on September 8, 2026, corresponds to the call for the Public Employment Offer (OEP) 2024 and opens a period of ten business days for the correction of defects.

The position is categorized under the Special Administration Scale, Special Services Subscale, Special Assignments Class, Group C, Subgroup C1, and will be filled through the competitive examination system in the open turn. The call was announced in BOCCE number 6623, on June 5, 2026, and subsequently in the Official State Gazette number 157, on June 29, 2026. The deadline for submitting applications ended on July 27, 2026, with a total of 13 applications registered.

Admitted and excluded candidates

Of the 13 applications submitted, 12 candidates have been admitted and 1 has been excluded. The provisional list is displayed on the Notice Board of the City of Ceuta, where the complete certified lists containing the surnames, first name, and ID number (DNI) of each candidate are also published.

The only excluded candidate is Miguel Ángel Gil Pacheco, whose cause for exclusion is failure to pay the examination fees.

Correction period and procedure

In accordance with Base 5 of the call and Article 20 of Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10, a period of 10 business days is granted for excluded candidates to correct the defects that led to their exclusion. The claims submitted will be accepted or rejected in the resolution approving the final list, which will be made public in the Official Gazette of the City of Ceuta.

The Decree is issued in exercise of the powers conferred by the Decree of the Presidency of the City of Ceuta, of June 23, 2023, published in the Extraordinary BOCCE number 42 of the same date.

Relevance of the call

This call for applications strengthens the City’s civil service staff in a key area such as occupational risk prevention, within the framework of the 2024 Public Employment Offer. Admitted applicants must stay alert to the correction period and the publication of the final list, which will determine who may sit for the competitive examination tests in the open category.
