Ceuta publishes the provisional list of admitted candidates for Prevention Technician

The Counselor for Presidency and Governance of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, Alberto Ramón Gaitán Rodríguez, has signed Decree 621, dated September 1, 2026, which approves the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates for the provision of one position as an Intermediate Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention. The resolution is published in the Official Gazette of the City of Ceuta (BOCCE) number 6,650, dated September 8, 2026, on page 3394.

The call, corresponding to the Public Employment Offer for the year 2024, was announced in BOCCE number 6,623, dated June 5, 2026, and was reproduced in the Official State Gazette number 157, dated June 29, 2026. The deadline for submitting applications concluded on July 27, 2026, after which 13 applications were registered with the General Directorate of Human Resources and Administration.

The position and its framework

The offered position is integrated into the Special Administration Scale, Special Services Subscale, Special Assignments Class, with a classification of Group C, Subgroup C1, and will be filled through the competitive examination system in the open shift, vacant in the civil service staff of the City.

Of the 13 applications submitted, 12 candidates have been admitted and 1 has been excluded. The only exclusion corresponds to Miguel Ángel Gil Pacheco, for failing to pay the examination fees.

Correction period and procedure

In accordance with Base 5 of the call and Article 20 of Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10, a period of 10 business days is granted for the correction of defects. The complete certified lists will be displayed on the Notice Board of the City of Ceuta, and any claims submitted will be resolved in the resolution approving the final list, which will be published in the BOCCE.

The decree is issued in exercise of the powers conferred by the Decree of the Presidency of the City of Ceuta, of June 23, 2023 (Extraordinary BOCCE number 42).

The publication of this provisional list opens the final stretch of the selection process for a technical position of a specialized nature, in a field—that of occupational risk prevention—of growing relevance for local administration. Admitted candidates must remain attentive to the notice board and the BOCCE to learn the final list and the calendar for the examination phase.
