Cervo publica listas definitivas de dous procesos con 28 aspirantes admitidos

The Cervo City Council closed the two selection processes it had open for interim personnel by publishing the final lists of admitted and excluded persons and by appointing the tribunals that will qualify the tests. The resolutions, signed by Mayor María Dolores García Caramés dated November 2, 2026, appear in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo (BOP) no. 255, Friday, November 6, 2026, with official references R. 3019 and R. 3020. Both calls concentrate their exams on two days, November 17 and 19, at the city hall and in the Forem Building.

The bases of the two procedures were approved by separate decrees of the Mayor’s Office on August 19, 2026: Decree 2026-0750, for the administrative assistant pool, and Decree 2026-0746, for the position of economic promotion technician. The announcements of the calls were published in the BOP of Lugo no. 194, Wednesday, August 26, 2026, with a application submission period of ten business days. Following the display of the provisional lists, a period of five business days was opened to correct defects as provided for in article 68 of Law 39/2015.

According to the report from the municipal information and registration office, no objections were submitted to the provisional list in the administrative assistant process. In the technician process, one objection is recorded, that of Cristina Sanmartín Díaz, with entry registration number 2026-E-RE-1150 and date of October 7, 2026. In both cases, the final lists are approved under the sixth base of the respective calls.

Thirteen admitted to the administrative assistant pool

The process identified as R. 3019 corresponds to the constitution of an employment pool for the appointment of interim civil service personnel by program in the category of Administrative Assistant, General Administration scale, Assistant subscale, subgroup C2. The final list of admitted persons consists of thirteen candidates and no excluded persons were registered:

  • María Rocío Alonso Díaz
  • María Begoña Álvarez Verdeal
  • Ana María Briones Montes
  • Vanesa Cabana Castro
  • Eva María Calvo Torquemada
  • Carolina Díez Fernández
  • Tania Gutiérrez Cuba
  • Nerea Martínez Regodeseves
  • Jennifer Moure López
  • María Paloma Quelle Arramburo
  • María Dolores Sánchez Rodríguez
  • María Luisa Seoane Sueiras
  • Ainhoa Vázquez Ramos

All admitted persons prove knowledge of Galician except Carolina Díez Fernández and Tania Gutiérrez Cuba, who appear without that accreditation.

Fifteen admitted for economic promotion technician

Process R. 3020 refers to the appointment as an interim civil servant for a vacant position of Administrative Technician for Economic Promotion, Tourism, and Social Networks, subgroup C1, as well as the creation of an employment pool. The final list includes fifteen admitted candidates:

  • María Begoña Álvarez Verdeal
  • Andrea Andión Fernández
  • Suevia Ansede Río
  • Iago Bamonde Bouza
  • Vanesa Cabana Castro
  • Ramón José Carballeira García
  • Carolina Díez Fernández
  • Iago García Miranda
  • Tania Gutiérrez Cuba
  • Irene Jackson Brennan
  • Luis López Canga
  • Elena López Núñez
  • Iria Polo Casabella
  • María Paloma Quelle Arramburo
  • Cristina Sanmartín Díaz

The only exclusion is that of Ana Isabel Arce Ruzo, due to submitting the application outside the deadline established in the fifth clause of the bases and in the announcement of the BOP de Lugo no. 194. Five people —María Begoña Álvarez Verdeal, Vanesa Cabana Castro, Carolina Díez Fernández, Tania Gutiérrez Cuba, and María Paloma Quelle Arramburo— are applying for both lists.

Shared Tribunal and Exam Calendar

The two tribunals have an almost identical composition and are presented as bodies of external composition, with members from neighboring councils:

  • Presidency: José García Insua, acting treasurer of the Cervo Council; substitute José Cuadrado Oural, employment technician of the Lourenzá Council for the C2 process, and Marta Sánchez Seivane, municipal architect, for the C1 process.
  • Titular members: Rosario San Isidro Franco (sanctions management technician of the Viveiro Council), María del Mar Varela Leal (administrative staff of the Viveiro Council), Lucía Fanego Candia (administrative staff of the General Administration of the Valadouro Council) and Sonia María Fraga Otero (social worker of the Mondoñedo Council).
  • Secretariat: María Eugenia Piñeiro Díaz, acting secretary of the Cervo Council.
  • Tuesday, November 17, 09:00 (C2 process) and 12:00 (C1 process): constitution of the tribunal in the Boardroom of the town hall, at Praza do Concello s/n, and evaluation of the merit phase.
  • Thursday, November 19, 09:00 (C2) and 12:00 (C1): opposition phase provided for in the eighth clause, at the Forem Building, at Avenida de Galicia no. 6 in Cervo.

The resolutions order the publication of the agreement in the BOP de Lugo, on the physical notice board, and on the municipal electronic headquarters, making this publication the sole official notification channel for the interested parties.

The relevance of the news is immediate for the twenty-eight admitted applicants and for the excluded one: they already know their administrative status in the process and the exact day and time they must appear. The call also affects a council that is filling an economic and tourism management position through interim appointment and which, through these processes, establishes two employment pools that it may draw upon when urgent personnel are needed. Appearance on November 19 is mandatory and unique, so any absence entails the loss of the employment option.
