Cervo abre axudas de 7.500 euros para ANPAS, CEIP e IES

The Cervo City Council is allocating 7,500 euros in grants for the ANPAS, CEIP, and IES of the municipality, with a maximum of 1,250 euros per grant. The call corresponds to the 2026 financial year and its extract is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo number 246, dated October 27, 2026, under reference R. 2908. Interested entities have ten days to submit their applications.

The publication is made under articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Grants, which requires the dissemination of the extract of the calls in the corresponding official gazettes. The full text of the rules is accessible in the National Grants Database (BDNS) with the identifier 936438.

The announcement is signed by the mayor of Cervo, María Dolores García Caramés, dated October 20, 2026, and is titled “Regulatory bases for the call for grants to non-profit ANPAS, CEIPs, and IES for the year 2026 of the Cervo City Council.” The call is therefore limited to the municipal scope.

What can be financed

The grants cover two clearly differentiated lines of expenditure:

  • Current expenses derived from the implementation of projects to promote educational, recreational, cultural activities, and any other carried out by the beneficiaries, provided they are aimed at the school community.
  • General operating expenses, conservation, maintenance, or minor repairs of the entity, provided they are not of an investment nature.

The wording therefore excludes actions involving investment in infrastructure or durable equipment, and limits the operating part to maintenance work and small repairs.

Who can apply

The call defines a restricted universe of beneficiaries linked to the municipality:

  • The ANPAS (Parents’ Associations) belonging to the Cervo City Council.
  • The CEIP (public infant and primary education schools) of the municipality.
  • The IES (secondary education institutes) of the municipal district.
  • In all cases, the entities must be active during the application submission period.

7,500 euros of credit and a cap of 1,250 per grant

The announcement sets a global amount of 7,500 euros and a maximum limit of 1,250 euros for each of the grants awarded. This means that the maximum amount is equivalent to one-sixth of the total credit, so that the full distribution would cover a maximum of six beneficiary entities.

This is a modest volume of expenditure, but it is added to other lines of cooperation that parents’ associations of educational centers in the region receive from different administrations, such as the Provincial Deputation of Lugo in other support programs for neighborhood and educational entities.

Ten days to submit documentation

The deadline for submitting applications is ten calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the summary in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo, which occurred on October 27, 2026. From that date, the countdown begins to submit the documentation required by the call, which is formulated under a competitive regime.

The announcement reminds that the full guidelines are not reproduced in the gazette, but are instead referred to the National Grants Database, where they are available via the link https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatoria/936438. Any applicant must consult the formal requirements, annexes, and award criteria there before formalizing the request.

The publication in the provincial gazette serves as official notification and marks the effective start of the administrative period. Calls of this type usually exhaust the credit among a few entities, meaning that the adjustment of documentation and submission within the legal deadlines are decisive.

The call directly affects families with children schooled in Cervo: the parents’ associations (ANPAS) and the centers themselves depend on these types of grants to finance complementary activities, field trips, workshops, and current operating expenses. With only a ten-day deadline and an amount limited to 1,250 euros per entity, the anticipation of the associations and management teams in preparing the documentation will be key to accessing funds that, while modest, relieve the budget for activities directed at the school community.
