Cerdido suspends OEP from the administrative-treasurer position

The Cerdido City Council has suspended the selection process for the administrative-treasurer position included in its Public Employment Offer (OEP) for the year 2023, until the new Staffing Table (RPT) is approved. The decision was made by the mayor, Alberto Javier Rey Paz, through resolution number 220/2026, dated August 19, 2026, and was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña number 162, dated August 26, 2026, under announcement number 2026/5554.

The suspension is in response to a letter submitted by CCOO on July 20, 2026, which prompted a review of the process. According to the announcement, once the new RPT is approved, the first point of Mayoral Decree number 323/2023, dated December 4, 2023, will be modified to adapt the designation of the position to the new structure, as well as the call and the rules of the process.

A suspension conditioned on the new RPT

The agreement does not cancel the offer, but rather temporarily halts the procedure until the new RPT is approved. At that moment, the Council will adapt the designation of the position and update the call and the rules, which means that applicants must wait for the new regulation for the process to resume.

The administrative-treasurer position is a key post in the municipal structure, as it concentrates administrative and economic management functions. Its filling is therefore suspended until the processing of the RPT is resolved.
