Cendejas del Padrastro elevates its 2026 budget to final status

The E.A.T.I.M. of Cendejas del Padrastro has finalized its general budget for the 2026 fiscal year, as no claims were filed during the public exhibition period. The agreement, signed by Mayor José Francisco Guillén Antúnez on September 1, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 169, dated September 3, 2026.

The approval is processed in accordance with Article 169.3 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the Revised Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries. The budget is balanced, with total expenditures and revenues of 109,700 euros, and is accompanied by the entity’s personnel staffing table for the fiscal year.

Appeal Period

Pursuant to Article 171.1 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed directly against the final approval of the general budget within two months, starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province.

The publication reinforces the transparency of this local entity of a scope smaller than a municipality, allowing the residents of Cendejas del Padrastro to know the destination of public funds and exercise their rights of challenge within the legal timeframe.
