Celrà will bury the torrent of Isidre Rossell Street for 964,079 euros

The Celrà City Council has initially approved the update of the project for the undergrounding and channeling of the torrent on Isidre Rossell i Gimbernat Street (formerly Germans Sàbat), a hydraulic work of great impact on the neighborhood that will be tendered with a contract execution budget of 964,079.26 euros (VAT included). The decision was made by the municipal Plenary in a session held on September 8, 2026, and the agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (BOP no. 177, of September 15, 2026), with official reference BOP-2026_0_177_7962.

The project, drafted by the company ABM Serveis d’Enginyeria i Consulting SLU, corresponds to file x2025002806 and involves the update of a previous project for the undergrounding and channeling of the torrent that crosses Isidre Rossell i Gimbernat Street. The work is processed as an ordinary work project and is now open for public inspection so that any person may examine it and submit allegations.

Public Information Period

In accordance with the applicable regulations, the project is submitted for public information for thirty business days, starting from the day after the last publication of the edict. The legal basis for the processing is as follows:

• Article 235.2 of Legislative Decree 2/2003, of April 28, which approves the revised text of the Municipal and Local Regime Law of Catalonia.
• Articles 37.1 and 2 of Decree 179/1995, of June 13, which approves the Regulation of works, activities, and services of local entities.

During this period, the project can be consulted on the corporation’s notice board, and allegations may be formulated by any interested person.
