The Mancomunidade de Municipios Terra de Celanova submits for public information the modification of its Ordinance regulating social emergency aid, following its provisional approval by the Assembly in the ordinary session of September 9, 2026. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense on September 15, 2026, in the Local Entities section, with the reference R. 2.182.
A process of 30 business days
In accordance with article 49 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the bases of the local regime, the file is submitted for public information for a period of thirty (30) business days, counted from the day following the publication of the announcement in the official gazette.
During this period, interested parties may examine the file and present their allegations:
- At the in-person offices of the Mancomunidade.
- Through the electronic headquarters (https://terradecelanova.sedelectronica.gal).
Thus, claims, objections, or suggestions that are deemed appropriate in relation to the modified text may be formulated.
Effects of the public exhibition
If no allegations or claims are presented during the public exhibition period, the agreement, until then provisional, shall be understood as definitively adopted without the need for a new express agreement. In that case, the full text of the modification will be published in the Official Gazette of the Province for its entry into force.
The modification directly affects the residents of the municipalities that make up the Mancomunidade Terra de Celanova who apply for these social emergency benefits, therefore the public hearing process constitutes the opportunity for citizens to know and evaluate the proposed changes before their definitive application.
Relevance for readers
The social emergency aid ordinance regulates a key benefit for people in situations of economic vulnerability in the member councils. Its modification may alter access conditions, amounts, or application procedures, therefore interested parties should monitor the period for allegations and the subsequent definitive text to be published in the official gazette.
