Catamarca: the electoral court proclaims new party authorities

The Federal Court with Electoral Jurisdiction of Catamarca, presided over by Judge Miguel Ángel Contreras, announced in the Official Gazette of the Argentine Republic on August 28, 2026, the proclamation of the new party authorities of PRO Propuesta Republicana and the organic charters of GENERAR and the Unión del Centro Democrático (UCEDE). The three notices were published in the second section of the gazette and are of interest to provincial political life and the electoral calendar.

The communications fall under the Organic Law of Political Parties No. 23,298, whose article 63 in fine mandates the dissemination of party resolutions and documents through the official gazette. The court acted in compliance with this regulation to provide publicity to the internal acts of the groups with legal standing in the district.

Proclamation of PRO authorities

In the proceedings No. 66040/2010, captioned “PRO PROPUESTA REPUBLICANA s/ recognition of legal-political standing,” the party communicated the result of the proclamation of its new authorities, carried out on July 30, 2026, with a mandate until July 31, 2028. The notice was signed in San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca on August 27, 2026, and published under number 60996/26.

Organic charters of GENERAR and UCEDE

In compliance with article 63 in fine of law 23,298, the court disseminated the resolution and the party organic charter of GENERAR, corresponding to file CNE No. 12930/2025, signed on April 15, 2026, and published under number 61002/26. Similarly, the resolution and organic charter of the Unión del Centro Democrático (UCEDE) were published, from file CNE No. 4037/2018, signed on June 26, 2026, and disseminated under number 61016/26.

Scope of the publication

The annexes comprising each political party are published in the web edition of the BORA (www.boletinoficial.gob.ar), as stated in the note of each notice. The official dissemination of these documents provides legal certainty to the internal life of the groups and leaves a public record of their authorities and statutes before the citizenry and electoral bodies.

The joint publication of the PRO proclamation and the organic charters of GENERAR and UCEDE updates the party map of Catamarca and lays the groundwork for the participation of these forces in the next provincial elections, by clearly establishing who leads each space and under which internal rules they are governed.
