Castilla y León increases aid for trade fairs to 1.18 million

The Regional Ministry of Industry, Universities, Employment and Trade of the Junta de Castilla y León has increased to 1,178,500.00 euros the total maximum amount of subsidies aimed at the organization of trade fairs in the community. The decision is formalized in the Order of September 20, 2026, the extract of which is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León (BOCYL) number 186, of September 24, 2026, on page 34. The regulation modifies the call approved on May 18, 2026, by the then department of Industry, Trade and Employment.

The publication is carried out under articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, which requires the publication of the extract of public aid calls. A modification limited to the amount section

The order signed on September 20, 2026, does not alter the call as a whole: its scope is limited to the fourth section, “amount,” of the extract of the Order of May 18, 2026. With the new wording, that section is established in the following terms: “The total maximum amount allocated to finance the called subsidies amounts to 1,178,500.00 euros.”

The change in the name of the issuing department—from Industry, Trade and Employment to Industry, Universities, Employment and Trade—reflects the reorganization of the Regional Ministry between the original call and its modification. The extract was signed in Valladolid on September 20, 2026, by the regional minister Juan Carlos Suárez-Quiñones Fernández.
