Por FactBox Admin

The Department of Deregulation, Family, and Social Aid of the Regional Government of Castilla y León has announced grants co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) to fund training actions under the Digitalization Program for unemployed young people residing in the community. The call is published via an extract of the Order of October 29, 2026, in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León (BOCYL) no. 213, dated November 4, 2026, with the identifier BDNS 938946. The total allocated amount is 220,847.33 euros.
The regulation is based on the regulatory bases approved by Order FAM/775/2024, of July 31, published in the BOCYL on August 6, 2024, and on articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, which mandate the publication of the call extract. The full text is available in the National Subsidies Database and on the electronic office of the regional Administration, using the BDNS identifier. The order bears the signature of the regional minister Carlos Pollán Fernández.
Non-profit entities as sole beneficiaries
Only non-profit entities that meet the following requirements may access the aid:
- Have their own legal personality and be legally constituted and registered in the corresponding registry.
- Include training and the improvement of employability among their purposes.
- Demonstrate sufficient organizational, technical, and management capacity to organize and execute the subsidized program.
Basic and advanced skills according to the youth profile
The program aims to improve the employability of young people through training in digital skills, with two distinct itineraries: basic digital skills for young people with low qualifications and advanced digital skills for young people who are already qualified. The target audience is unemployed young people residing in Castilla y León.
Regarding financing, the maximum amount per training action may reach up to 100% of the budget accepted by the Administration, provided that, individually or in conjunction with other aid, income, or resources, it does not exceed the total cost of the action. The individual amount is determined based on the score obtained in the evaluation criteria and the budget accepted for each action, until the credit allocated to each subsidy line is exhausted. The department may add an additional amount, in accordance with article 16.3 of the Subsidies Law of the Community of Castilla y León 5/2008, of September 25, to address a greater number of applications.
Twenty calendar days to submit the application
The application period is 20 calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the summary in the BOCYL; therefore, it opens on November 5, 2026, and closes on November 24, 2026. Interested entities may consult the full call for applications at:
- The National Grants Database, at the address infosubvenciones.es with the identifier 938946.
- The electronic office tramitacastillayleon.jcyl.es, by entering the same BDNS identifier.
The call arrives while the period is still open and with the European credit already committed, meaning that third-sector entities with experience in employment training have these few weeks as their only window to apply. The distribution by score and by grant line, along with the limit on the total cost of the action, conditions the size of the programs that will eventually be funded and, consequently, the number of young people who will be able to train in digital skills in the community.
