Castilla-La Mancha resolves the 2024 rainfed vineyard aid

The Vice-Ministry of the Common Agricultural Policy and Agro-environmental Policy of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha has resolved the annual application for the 2024 campaign for intervention aid for the sustainable management of rainfed vineyards, corresponding to the 2023 call. The resolution, dated September 10, 2026, and signed by the Vice-Minister José Manuel Martín Aparicio, is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha (DOCM) number 185, dated September 25, 2026, with the official reference 2026/6813, and includes an attached list of 149 beneficiaries.

The line is supported by Order 57/2023, of March 21, of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Rural Development, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of these aids through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), as provided for in the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy for the 2023-2027 period. The call was made via Resolution of 04/04/2023, from the General Directorate of Agro-environmental Policies.

The publication in the DOCM replaces individual notification, in accordance with article 8.4 of Order 10/2024, of January 30, and article 45 of Law 39/2015, of October 1. All applications included in the annex are approved without any reduction in the amount requested by the holder.

European funding and budget line

The aid is co-financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment, and the European Union through the EAFRD, charged to budget line 21060000 G/718A/4734F.

The percentages established in the National Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy 2023-2027 are as follows:

14% charged to the Regional Ministry.
6% charged to the National Ministry.
80% charged to the European Union through the EAFRD.

149 winegrowers and 728.85 hectares committed

The annex of the resolution details, for each person or entity, the committed area and the amount paid, with aid equivalent to 100 euros per hectare. Together, they total 728.85 hectares and 72,885 euros.

Among the largest recipients are:

Pilar Patiño Velasco: 25.96 hectares and 2,596 euros.
Dolores Rabadán Rojo: 20.71 hectares and 2,071 euros.
Miguel Ángel Campos Melero: 16.55 hectares and 1,655 euros.
José Luis Menchén García Filoso: 15.85 hectares and 1,585 euros.
Remigio Fernández Patiño: 15.79 hectares and 1,579 euros.

The list combines individual holdings with partnerships and community-of-property entities, including Hermanos Román S.C., García Rojo, C.B., Explotaciones Agrícolas El Ralo C.B., Sociedad Agrícola López Campos, S.C., El Retamar, C.B., Agrocabaña, S.L., Tresge Wine Consulting S.L., Navarro Patiño Agropecuaria S.L., Onvert, S.L. and Hnas. Martínez Fuentes, C.B.

Administrative appeal within one month

This resolution does not exhaust administrative remedies. An administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed before the head of the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development within one month from the day following its notification, in accordance with articles 121 and 122 of Law 39/2015, of October 1.

Pursuant to article 14.3 of the same law, the filing of any administrative appeal must be carried out by electronic means, through the link enabled on the website of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha (https://www.jccm.es/tramites/1003700), using a digital certificate or CL@VE.

The resolution closes the payment for the 2024 campaign of a key line for rain-fed vineyards, an extensive crop widely spread across Castilla-La Mancha. The 149 listed beneficiaries can now check their recognized area and the amount paid, and have one month to appeal if they are not in agreement.
