Castilla-La Mancha appoints the next graduate in Environmental Sciences

The General Directorate of the Civil Service of the Regional Ministry of Finance, Public Administrations and Digital Transformation has published, by Resolution of September 8, 2026, the appointment of the following person approved with the right to occupy a career civil servant position in the Higher Body, Environmental Sciences Specialty of the Administration of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha. The resolution, which appears in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha number 177, of September 15, 2026 (p. 31956), occurs following the resignation of the person previously appointed who did not take office.

The selection process was announced by Resolution of the General Directorate of the Civil Service of December 5, 2024 (D.O.C.M. no. 244, of 12-18-2024), through the general access system for persons with disabilities and through the general open access system. After the completion of the tests, the destinations were offered to the approved persons by Resolution of June 12, 2026 (D.O.C.M. no. 114, of 06-18-2026), and the final appointments and allocations were formalized by Resolution of July 3, 2026 (D.O.C.M. no. 129, of 07-09-2026).

Resignation and new allocation

Rodrigo Pardo Fernández (D.N.I. *4843) did not take office in the position allocated to him within the one-month period established in the appointment resolution, therefore his allocation was rendered null and void. In accordance with the twelfth clause of the call, the General Directorate may appoint and allocate positions to those who, without appearing on the list of approved candidates, had passed the selection test in order of score, without the need for a new proposal from the Qualifying Tribunal.

Consequently, Sara Gómez Rodilla (D.N.I. *6221) is published as the new career civil servant, with application number 19 and a total score of 47.5375 points in the competitive phase, within the general open access system.

Offered position and destination request

The position offered for the allocation of destination is as follows:

• Position: Senior Technician, level 22, with a specific supplement of €10,520.76 and ordinary working hours.
• Work center: General Directorate of Environmental Quality, Central Services, in Toledo.
• Regional Ministry: Sustainable Development (functional area C031).
• Position identifier (NID): 15302.

The destination request must be submitted electronically through the employee portal (https://portaldelempleado.jccm.es), via the “Destination Request” button, within a period of ten business days from the day following the publication of the resolution. The interested person must list the requested positions in order of preference and attach the documentation required in the eleventh clause of the call.

Requirements and procedures

To be appointed as a career civil servant, the requirements of the second and tenth clauses of the call for applications must be met. The Administration will verify nationality, age, and qualifications ex officio, unless the interested party expressly opposes this, in which case they must provide the corresponding documentation. A sworn statement of functional capacity and of not having been dismissed from service must also be submitted, as well as, where applicable, a certificate stating that the person is not listed in the Registry of Sexual Offenders.

The resolution, which exhausts the administrative route, may be appealed through contentious-administrative proceedings before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Castilla-La Mancha within two months, or optionally through a motion for reconsideration before the Ministry within one month. The signature corresponds to the Director General of the Civil Service, José Narváez Vila.

This publication ensures that the vacant position in the environmental quality area of the regional Administration is filled by the next person with the highest score, preventing the loss of the vacancy and ensuring the continuity of public service in a specialized technical field such as environmental sciences.
