Castilla-La Mancha convoca seis millones en ayudas para nuevos establecimientos industriales

The Regional Ministry of Economy, Business and Employment of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha has announced 6,000,000 euros in grants to promote the establishment of new industrial facilities in the region during the 2026 financial year. The call is approved by the Resolution of 09/29/2026, of the Directorate General for Business, published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha (DOCM) No. 191, of October 5, 2026, within section III of other provisions and acts. Interested SMEs will have nine months to submit their applications.

The measure is supported by the regulatory bases established by Order 117/2026, of July 28, of the Regional Ministry of Economy, Business and Employment, published in DOCM No. 146 of August 3, 2026. The summary of the call appears in the National Grants Database with the identifier BDNS 932454. The resolution is part of Investment Axis 2 for Business of the Plan Adelante 2024-2027 and aims to strengthen the regional productive fabric, encourage economic diversification, and boost territorial development, with a special focus on rural areas and regions affected by depopulation.

Beneficiaries and purpose of the grants

For-profit SMEs that plan to create an operational establishment whose activity corresponds to industries included in section C of the CNAE-2025, located in Castilla-La Mancha, and that carry out an eligible action in accordance with the regulatory order, may be beneficiaries.

  • Grant for critical aspects linked to the creation of the establishment.
  • Support for the decision to implement and for the initial difficulties after becoming operational.
  • Exclusion of entities and activities expressly vetoed by the regulatory order.
  • Solvency requirements: to be up to date with tax obligations and Social Security, not be a company in crisis, and not have ceased an identical or similar activity in the previous two years.

Projects already underway are admitted provided they are not materially completed, which is evidenced by the absence of a municipal activity license at the time of application. Previous expenses incurred, invoiced, and paid since January 1, 2026, are also accepted.

Deadline, processing, and execution

The deadline for submitting applications is nine months starting from the day following the publication of the resolution and its summary in the DOCM, and they shall be addressed to the head of the Directorate General for Business. All processing is carried out by electronic means, with an electronic signature, through the headquarters of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha (https://www.jccm.es) and the electronic notification platform.

  • Maximum project execution period: 24 months from the notification of the award resolution.
  • Maximum period to resolve and notify: six months from the entry of the application into the registry, with negative administrative silence.
  • Justification period: one month from the end of the execution period.
  • Possibility of advance payment of up to 80 percent of the granted aid when prior expenses are declared.
  • Administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) before the Regional Ministry of Economy, Business and Employment within one month.

Evaluation and financing criteria

The evaluation is scored out of a maximum of 100 points and requires a minimum score of 20 to be eligible for a subsidy. The criteria assess the quality and viability of the project (10 points), the socioeconomic impact (up to 50 points, with special weight for high and medium-tech manufacturing sectors), the environmental impact (10 points), the representation of groups such as women, people under 30, and people with disabilities (10 points), priority projects or strategic investments (10 points), and the status of being an emerging company or startup (10 points). Additional scoring of between 20 and 40 percent is added for projects in areas affected by depopulation.

The credit of 6,000,000 euros comes from own funds and is allocated to budget application 1911.G/724A/47572, with element code PEP JCCM/0000026888. The distribution by annual periods is as follows:

  • Fiscal year 2026: 1,500,000 euros.
  • Fiscal year 2027: 4,000,000 euros.
  • Fiscal year 2028: 500,000 euros.

The total amount may be increased by up to an additional 50 percent if credit availability is declared. The aid is de minimis in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 2023/2831, with a limit of 300,000 euros per company in any three-year period. The processing is the responsibility of the Business Incentives Service of the Directorate General for Business, whose head, Santiago Tomás Baeza San Llorente, signs the resolution in Toledo on September 29, 2026.

The call opens a direct financing route for the region’s industrial fabric at a time when the establishment of new plants and productive diversification are declared objectives of the Plan Adelante. For SMEs and industrial entrepreneurs, the nine-month window and the possibility of financing expenses already incurred since January reduce the barrier to entry, while the reservation of points for industrial estates and municipalities at risk of depopulation directs investments toward the interior of Castilla-La Mancha.
