Castilla-La Mancha announces 364,000 euros in grants for entrepreneurs

The General Directorate of Freelancers, Labor, and Social Economy of the Regional Ministry of Economy, Business, and Employment of Castilla-La Mancha has approved the call for grants for the tutoring and advisory of entrepreneurs in the region for the 2026 fiscal year. The resolution, signed on August 18, 2026, by the Director General Ana María Carmona Duque, is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha number 162, dated August 25, 2026, with the official reference [2026/6275].

The call has a total credit of 364,000 euros from the regional ministry’s own budget funds, originating from the State Public Employment Service and distributed by the Sectoral Conference on Employment and Labor Affairs. The maximum amount per beneficiary entity is set at 51,000 euros, and the total amount may be increased by up to an additional 10% under the terms provided in Decree 21/2008, of February 5.

Purpose and Regulatory Framework

The objective of these grants is to encourage the creation and launch of new companies or the transfer of existing businesses through individualized advisory and tutoring actions, as well as the dissemination and promotion of viable entrepreneurship, promoting self-employment and job creation. The grants are processed under a competitive bidding regime, in accordance with the principles of publicity, transparency, objectivity, and non-discrimination.

The regulatory bases are contained in Order 80/2026, of May 26, of the Regional Ministry of Economy, Business, and Employment, published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha number 105, dated June 5, 2026. The call is published as an extract in the National Grants Database with the identifier BDNS 925650.

Beneficiaries and Target Recipients

Beneficiaries may be the self-employment support entities provided for in Article 4 of the regulatory order, excluding those listed in section 2. The target recipients of the actions are:

  • Unemployed or employed persons who appear as job seekers in the Emplea Office Network of Castilla-La Mancha and have a referral report.
  • Self-employed workers with less than one year of seniority in the RETA (Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers) or in the corresponding social security mutual fund.
  • Students of Higher Level Vocational Training Cycles in Castilla-La Mancha.

Entities must provide advisory services within the regional territory, have premises with an individual attention office and a meeting room, and have at least two technical staff members dedicated exclusively to these tasks.

Deadline and Submission of Applications

The application period will be 15 days starting from the day following the publication of the resolution and its summary in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha. Applications shall be addressed to the head of the General Directorate of Freelancers, Labor, and Social Economy and must be submitted electronically with an electronic signature through the electronic office of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha, accompanied by annexes II to VII.

Only one application per entity will be admitted, and the maximum period for resolution and notification will be four months from the date of publication. The justification of activities will be carried out by modules through an activity report and a financial report, and payment will be made upon notification of the granting resolution.
