Castilla-La Mancha increases ESF+ employment aid by 1.4 million

The General Directorate of Employment of the Regional Ministry of Economy, Business and Employment of Castilla-La Mancha has increased by 1,400,000 euros the available credit for grants to promote full employment and social inclusion through stable and quality employment, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). The expansion is detailed in the Resolution of August 10, 2026, signed by the Director General, María Elena García Zalve, and published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha on August 19, 2026.

With this expansion, the total budget for the 2026 call increases from 3,500,000 to 4,900,000 euros, distributed between aid lines 1 and 2. The summary of the call is listed in the National Grants Database (BDNS) with the identifier 876434.

Regulatory Framework

The expansion is framed within Decree 37/2024, of July 9, which regulates the direct granting of these subsidies, published in DOCM No. 137, with its correction of errors in No. 198. The initial credit for the 2026 financial year was established by the Resolution of 12/17/2025, published in DOCM No. 3 on January 7, 2026.

The increase is supported by Article 23.1.b) of Decree 21/2008, of February 5, which allows for an increase of up to 40% of the planned credit, subject to a declaration of availability and approval of the budget modification. The application submission period remains open until November 30, 2026.

Breakdown of the Expanded Credit

The new credit is divided between the two aid lines, with the following breakdown:

• Line 1 (permanent hiring): 4,775,346.00 euros
• Line 2: 124,654.00 euros
• Total amount: 4,900,000.00 euros

The items are financed with ESF+ funds (FPA0090011) and own funds (0000001150), under project JCCM/0000027137.

Objectives and Indicators

The expansion entails new performance commitments within the performance framework of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060:

• Financial indicator: public contribution of 3,850,000.00 euros to the ESF+ Castilla-La Mancha 2021-2027 program.
• Output indicator: 501 people hired on a permanent basis in line 1 (251 men and 250 women).
• Result indicator: 395 people who obtain employment after their participation (204 men and 191 women).

The resolution takes effect from the day of its publication in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, and its summary corresponds to those published with BDNS codes 876384 and 876418.
