Por FactBox Admin

The General Directorate of Employment of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha has increased by 2,059,998.65 euros the budget credit for the grant call aimed at the labour inclusion of persons with disabilities in the sheltered labour market. The decision is set out in a resolution of 31 July 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha (DOCM) No. 155, of 14 August 2026, with official reference 2026/6070.
The increase corresponds to measure 2, lines 3 and 4, of the call for the second half of the financial year, and responds to the need detected once processing had advanced, in view of the applications submitted. The document, signed in Toledo by the Director General of Employment, María Elena García Zalve, is published as an extract in accordance with Law 38/2003, of 17 November, General Subsidies Law, in its Articles 17.3(b) and 20.8(a).
An increase of more than two million euros
The authorised increase amounts to 2,059,998.65 euros and is applied to lines 3 and 4 of measure 2 for the second semester, within the labour inclusion programme for persons with disabilities in the sheltered labour market of Castilla-La Mancha. The main elements of the operation are:
- Line 3, of a social initiative, with budget allocations G/322B/4761P and G/322B/4861P.
- Line 4, likewise for the second semester.
- The increase does not imply the opening of a new application period.
- The new amount must be communicated to the National Subsidies Database before the end of the deadline, as required by the regulations.
Legal framework of the increase
The call is governed by Decree 6/2026, of 3 March, approving the regulatory bases for the direct award of these grants, published in the DOCM on 11 March 2026 with extract 2026/1761 and identifier BDNS 891416. Its second additional provision provides that the budget credit allocated to the measure may be increased under the terms of Article 23.1(b) of Decree 21/2008, of 5 February, approving the Regulation implementing the consolidated text of the Public Finance Law on subsidies.
According to Article 37.4 of the aforementioned regulation, the additional amount may reach up to 20 percent of the initially planned budget credit. Its effectiveness is conditional on the declaration of availability of the budget credit and, where applicable, on the prior approval of the corresponding budget amendment, circumstances that have been verified before formalising the increase.
Beneficiaries and scope
The program supports entities and companies in the social economy and sheltered employment sector that implement labor inclusion measures for people with disabilities in Castilla-La Mancha. The social initiative line and line 4 cover the actions planned for the second half of the year, so the increased funding guarantees attention to registered demand without altering the deadlines of the original call.
The resolution thus confirms the regional government’s commitment to maintaining and creating sheltered employment, a key area for the socio-labor integration of people with disabilities in the autonomous community.
