Castellfort publicly auctions the grazing rights of its public forests

The Castellfort City Council has put up for public auction the grazing rights of two of its public utility forests, with a base tender budget of €1,100.00 per year for the “Grupo Castellfort” and €120.00 per year for the “Campillos” forest. The call for tenders is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón, number 104, dated August 29, 2026, in the Local Administration section, and interested parties have 20 calendar days to submit their offers.

The tender notices, electronically signed by the mayor, Mr. Juan Manuel Segura Prades, on August 20, 2026, are processed via an open procedure and auction format, with ordinary processing. Documentation and offers may be submitted at the municipal offices at Plaza del Ayuntamiento, 1, Castellfort, or through the contractor profile of the council’s electronic office.

Object and affected forests

The tender affects two livestock grazing rights within the municipality of Castellfort, both declared public utility forests:

• “Grupo Castellfort” Forest (UP-19/21/22/23), with a base tender budget of €1,100.00 per year excluding VAT (reference 03768-2026).
• “Campillos” Forest (UP-20), with a base tender budget of €120.00 per year excluding VAT (reference 03769-2026).

In both cases, the object of the contract is the utilization of pastures, and the specific requirements for the contractor are referred to the Particular Administrative Clauses and Technical Specifications.

Duration, guarantee, and submission of offers

The contracts are set for 5 non-renewable annual terms, from the date of issuance of the first license until September 30 of the final year (2031). A guarantee of 10% of the award price is required.

• Submission deadline: 20 calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement on the contractor profile.
• Documentation: as required in the Particular Administrative Clauses.
• Place of submission: municipal offices or the electronic office of the Castellfort City Council.
