Castellón expropriates land for road on Cronista Muntaner Street

The City Council of Castellón de la Plana has called for the drawing up of the payment and occupation records for the expropriation project, by joint valuation, of land in an area destined for a public road located on Cronista Muntaner Street. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) number 10439, dated August 28, 2026, within section V of announcements, under the land use and urban planning section.

The call, signed by the deputy mayor and Government delegate for the Department of Urban Planning and Public Services, Ester Giner Hidalgo, is addressed to the owners of the affected assets and rights, who must appear at the offices of the Quatre Cantons building, at number 82 Enmedio Street, third floor, on September 18, 2026.

An expropriation procedure by joint valuation

The expropriation is processed through the joint valuation procedure, provided for obtaining the land necessary for the execution of a public road. The project has already been approved by the council, and the scheduling of the records constitutes the previous step to the expropriation agreement and the payment of the fair price to those affected.

The announcement, dated in Castellón de la Plana on August 10, 2026, is issued by virtue of the delegation of powers 2026-7124, dated July 30, 2026.

Requirements for affected owners

The holders of the affected assets and rights must attend the act provided with their ID (DNI). In the case of legal entities, it will be necessary to sufficiently prove representation in accordance with Article 5 of Law 39/2015, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations, providing the power of attorney deed duly certified by the city council’s Legal Advisory office.

The appointment will be notified by summons to each of the affected parties. The call lists a single affected property:

• Property 1 — owner Gómez Lauterio Promociones, SL — date 18.09.2026, at 10:10 hours.
