Casavieja modifies the street market and fair fee and opens it for allegations

The Casavieja City Council has opened for public exhibition the modification of Fiscal Ordinance No. 13, which regulates the fee for the occupation of municipally-owned land, the installation of stalls in the street market, attractions, fair stalls and booths, circuses, shows, and other similar activities. The announcement, signed by the mayor-president Vanessa Muñoz García, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila number 168, dated September 1, 2026, under file number 1737/26.

The modification was initially approved by the City Council-Plenary in a session held on August 12, 2026. With this process, the council updates the regulatory framework that taxes the occupation of the municipal public domain by fairground operators, street vendors, and show organizers.

Period for Allegations

The text will be open to the public for a period of thirty days, starting from the day following its publication in the provincial gazette, so that interested parties may submit allegations or claims. The announcement is dated in Casavieja on August 17, 2026.

Final Approval

Once the exhibition period has elapsed without any allegations or claims being submitted, the ordinance will be considered definitively approved without the need for a new agreement from the Plenary. If allegations are submitted, the file must be resolved before final approval.
