Casar de Cáceres tenders the lease of its rural Common Lands

The Casar de Cáceres City Council has announced a public tender for the lease of eleven rural plots that make up the “Masas Comunes” (Common Lands) of the municipality, classified as heritage assets of the council. The call is formalized through Mayoral Resolution No. 2026-1212, dated September 10, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres number 0176, dated September 15, 2026.

The decision comes from the Mayor-President, Marta Jordán Ordiales, who signed the announcement in Casar de Cáceres on September 14, 2026. The purpose of the tender is to lease rural plots of pasture and unproductive land, providing an economic opportunity for livestock farmers and agriculturists in the area.

The plots subject to bidding

The tender covers eleven estates distributed across different areas of the municipal district, with sizes ranging from less than one hectare to more than twelve. These include:

Aceras (La Cruz de la Monja I), polygon 5, plot 121, 1.1920 ha of pasture.
Cañada de San Caín (Cerro Alegre I), polygon 6, plot 71, 2.0250 ha of pasture.
Encarnación (Viñas Ejido Altas), polygon 7, plot 55, 0.7280 ha of unproductive land.
Acoto (Acoto IV), polygon 9, plot 26, 1.8490 ha of pasture.
Acoto (Macotela I), polygon 9, plot 27, 12.7820 ha of pasture.
Acoto (Macotela II), polygon 9, plot 31, 2.1730 ha of pasture.
Acoto (Macotela III), polygon 9, plot 50, 0.5910 ha of pasture.
Tayllon, polygon 13, plot 25, 10.6700 ha of pasture.
Campanas de París (Cerro Alegre II), polygon 6, plot 69, 1.1793 ha of unproductive land.
Monte Casar (Plot opposite the Pier), polygon 15, plot 5139, 0.2675 ha of grassland.
Pasto antigua Cañada Real, polygon 5, plot 9004, 6.7421 ha of rural land.

Deadline and method of submission

Offers may be submitted within a period of 15 calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the BOP and on the contractor profile. The method is the manual submission of proposals.

Location: General Registry of the Casar de Cáceres City Council, Plaza de España, 1, 10190, from 9:00 to 14:00 hours.
Submission by mail: the date and time of posting at the Post Office must be justified, and the submission to the contracting body must be announced, preferably by email to secretaria@casardecaceres.com, stating the file number, the title of the object, and the name of the bidder.

The act of opening the proposals will take place within five business days following the end of the deadline, at the City Council itself.

To ensure transparency, the specifications are available to interested parties at the municipal offices, on the electronic headquarters https://www.ayuntamientocasardecaceres.es and on the Public Sector Procurement Platform (https://contrataciondelestado.es).

The leasing of these patrimonial estates represents a way to add value to municipal rural land, offering local livestock farmers and farmers the possibility of accessing pastures and land through a public and transparent procedure, with fixed deadlines and specifications accessible to all interested parties.
