Cardeñadijo amplía sus inversiones reales en 330.932 euros

The Cardeñadijo City Council has definitively approved the budget modification file 2026/MOD/005 for the 2026 fiscal year, which increases the municipality’s real investments by 330,932.02 euros. The agreement, adopted on August 27, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 172, dated September 10, 2026, in section III of Local Administration.

The decision, signed by Mayor María Daniela Grijalvo Preciado, is processed under article 169 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the revised text of the Law regulating Local Treasuries, and article 20 of Royal Decree 500/1990, of April 20.

Details of the modification

The increase is concentrated entirely in chapter 6 of the expenditure budget, dedicated to real investments, which now has an additional allocation of 330,932.02 euros. The operation is financed through chapter 8 of income, corresponding to financial assets, for the same amount, so that the budget remains balanced.

  • Expenditure increases (chap. 6, Real investments): 330,932.02 €
  • Income increases (chap. 8, Financial assets): 330,932.02 €
  • Total increases: 330,932.02 €

The publication is carried out in a summarized form by chapters, as provided for in the local treasury regulations. A contentious-administrative appeal may be filed directly against the definitive approval of the budget modification, in the form and within the time limits established by current regulations, as provided in article 171 in relation to articles 177 and 179 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5.

Relevance for the municipality

With this operation, Cardeñadijo reinforces its spending capacity for real investment—the largest allocation recorded in this edition of the gazette—which will allow the council to undertake projects to improve municipal infrastructure and facilities. Financing via financial assets ensures that the increase does not compromise the budgetary balance of the fiscal year.
