Cantabria publica los aprobados de Radiofísica Hospitalaria y sus plazas

The Health Department of Cantabria has published in the Official Gazette of Cantabria (BOC no. 174, of September 9, 2026) the resolution making public the list of candidates who have passed the selective tests for access, through the competition-examination system, to positions in the statutory category of Area Specialist Physician in Hospital Radiophysics of the Health Institutions of the Autonomous Community. The resolution, signed on September 2 by the Health Councilor, César Pascual Fernández, bears the official reference CVE-2026-7019 and is published in section 2.2 of Courses, Examinations, and Competitions.

The process is framed within the call approved by Order SAL/51/2023, of December 26, and is resolved based on the certification of candidates who passed the process submitted by the Qualifying Board, as well as the proposal of positions formulated by the Management Directorate of the Cantabrian Health Service, in accordance with the eighth Base of the call.

Candidates who passed the tests

The list of successful candidates, contained in Annex I of the resolution, corresponds to the open entry, with their order of precedence and final score:

  • Rosa Fabregat Borras, 99.330 points
  • Mario Martin Veganzones, 98.060 points
  • Marina Gutiérrez Ruiz, 91.405 points
  • José Antonio Fermoso Gutiérrez, 89.390 points
  • Jorge Alonso Muriedas, 86.945 points

Offered positions

Annex II of the resolution details the positions offered to the successful candidates, all of them in the Specialized Care Management Area I:

  • 5 positions for Area Specialist Physician in Hospital Radiophysics at the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital, in Santander.

Deadline and method of submission

The candidates appearing on the list have a period of twenty calendar days, counting from the day following the publication of the resolution in the BOC, to submit the required documentation and the position application form to the Management Directorate of the Cantabrian Health Service, indicating in order of preference the positions to which they wish to be assigned.

The required documentation includes a valid ID or passport, the required academic degree, the certificate of functional capacity, sworn statements of not having been dismissed from service nor having the status of permanent statutory personnel in the same category, and the negative certification from the Central Registry of Sex Offenders. The application is completed exclusively by electronic means through the ORION computer application, with an electronic signature or registration on paper support in accordance with Law 39/2015.

The allocation of positions will be carried out according to the order obtained in the selection tests, with preference for the choice of position given to applicants entering through the internal promotion track, pursuant to Article 34.6 of Law 55/2003, the Framework Statute of Statutory Personnel of the Health Services.

This resolution represents a definitive step toward filling the vacancies of a highly qualified and scarce specialty in the public health system, guaranteeing the staffing of hospital medical physicists in the community’s main health center, the Hospital Universitario Marqués de Valdecilla, and thus consolidating the staff of professionals who ensure the safety of radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging treatments in Cantabria.
