Interested entities will have 15 business days from publication to submit their applications. The announcement appears with reference CVE-2026-6509.

The call is based on the regulatory bases approved by the Order EDU/23/2023, of 7 August (BOC No. 157, of 16 August 2023), and on the Order ECD 72/2014, of 5 June, which regulates the Basic Vocational Training programmes developed in Cantabria. The extract is published in accordance with Articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the Law 38/2003, of 17 November, General Law on Grants, and its full text can be consulted in the National Database of Grants under identifier BDNS 924571.

Purpose and beneficiary entities

The purpose of the order is to announce grants to support the delivery of Basic Vocational Training programmes in two modalities, with different implementation schedules:

  • Basic Vocational Training Classroom: programmes carried out between the last quarter of 2026 and August 2027.
  • Specific Basic Vocational Training Programme: programmes carried out between the last quarter of 2026 and August 2028.

Private non-profit entities that meet the requirements of the regulatory bases may apply for the grants. Excluded are those who fall under any of the circumstances provided for in Article 12.2 of the Law 10/2006, of 17 July, on Grants of Cantabria.

Amount and distribution of grants

The maximum global amount of the call is 400,000 euros, which will be allocated to the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for the fiscal years 2026, 2027 and 2028:

  • 112,000 euros charged to budget line 09.05.324A.485 for fiscal year 2026.
  • 248,000 euros charged to budget line 09.05.324A.485 for fiscal year 2027.
  • 40,000 euros for the specific Basic Vocational Training programme modality, charged to budget line 09.05.324A.485 for fiscal year 2028.

The individual amount will be 40,000 euros per grant in the classroom modality, with a maximum of 6 grants, and 80,000 euros in the specific programme modality, with a maximum of 2 grants and a duration of two academic years.

Submission deadline

Applications must be submitted within 15 business days counted from the day following the publication of the extract in the Official Gazette of Cantabria. The order, dated in Santander on 11 August 2026, is signed by the Minister of Education, Vocational Training and Universities, Sergio Silva Fernández.

The call consolidates the role of private non-profit entities in the Basic Vocational Training network of Cantabria, which serves students who require adapted training pathways. The multi-year distribution until 2028 provides stability to the programmes, both in the ordinary classroom and in specific programmes, and expands the educational offering of the community over the coming academic years.
