Cantabria awards 24 positions from the labor personnel transfer competition

The Ministry of Presidency, Justice, Security and Administrative Simplification has made public the final award of the transfer competition for the filling of vacant job positions reserved for permanent contractual staff of the same professional category and specialty. The resolution, signed on August 31, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of Cantabria number 172, dated September 7, 2026, under the reference CVE-2026-6918 (Order PRE/137/2026).

The procedure stems from the call approved by Order PRE/9/2026, of January 27, published in the BOC number 20, dated January 30, 2026. The proposal for the final resolution was prepared by the General Directorate of Public Service, and the order is signed by delegation by the director general, Isabel Barragán Bohigas.

Awarded positions

Annex I of the order lists 24 positions awarded to an equal number of applicants, distributed among various professional categories and ministries. Among the awardees are:

  • Sociosanitary Technician: Aida Lisaso Alonso, María Mercedes Cacicedo Samperio, María Yobana Fernández Lantazón, Cristina Ruiz Gutiérrez and Silvia Díaz Haya.
  • Maintenance Operator: Estiven de Freitas Lobato and Gonzalo Bienvenido Celis Calleja.
  • Forestry Firefighter Operator: José Manuel Fernández Barquín, Raúl Aguado Calderón and Francisco Morante Lamadrid.
  • Road Operator: Erica Rocío Rumoroso Fernández and Jesús Alberto Prieto Ortega.
  • Kitchen Operator: Pedro Lavín González.
  • Service Employee: Juan Calderón Cortés and María Fernández Torre.
  • Subaltern: María Rosario Cobo Ruiz, Cristina Camino Rentería, Darío Jesús Alonso Urbano, María Eugenia López Cobo, Pablo Torre López, Almudena Robles Saiz, Juan Manuel Campo López, Begoña Obregón Mollinedo and Ana María Astobiza Gamboa.

The majority of the destinations correspond to the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Universities (General Directorate of Educational Centers and Infrastructure), as well as the ministries of Rural Development, Livestock, Fisheries and Food and Public Works, Housing, Territorial Planning and Environment.

Vacant positions

Annex II declares numerous positions vacant that have not received an awardee, in categories such as graphic arts technician-prepress, maintenance manager, senior port operations technician, public works manager, hydrological plans manager, forestry services manager-forestry firefighter, hydrological plant technician, heavy machinery operator, natural heritage conservation technician, agricultural and livestock operations technician, trade official-electrician, cultural guide, central station listener, counselor’s driver, driver, specialized laborer, and numerous positions for forest operator-forestry firefighter, road operator, kitchen operator, service employee, and subordinate.

Deadlines and appeals

The deadlines for cessation and taking office shall be those established in the eighth base of Order PRE/9/2026. Publication in the BOC serves as notification to the interested parties in accordance with Article 45 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure. An appeal against the order may be filed before the Social Section of the Court of First Instance of Santander within two months from the day following its publication.

The resolution closes a mobility process that directly affects the organization of educational, forestry, and public works services of the community, and leaves dozens of vacancies open that the Administration must fill through other means.
