Candeleda announces grants of up to 120 euros per student for school supplies

The Candeleda City Council has announced grants for the acquisition of school supplies intended for Early Childhood Education students at the Almanzor Public School of Candeleda and the C.R.A. Vetonia de El Raso during the 2026/2027 academic year. The call was approved by Mayoral Resolution no. 2026-0520, dated September 10, 2026, and its summary is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila on September 21, 2026, under Number 1839/26 and identification BDNS 928882. The application period will remain open until October 31, 2026.

The measure is supported by Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, whose articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a require the publication of the call summary in the official gazette and the submission of the full text to the National Subsidy Database. The Candeleda City Council will finance the acquisition of school supplies with a maximum of 120.00 euros per student. The total allocation for the call amounts to 10,000.00 euros, charged to budget item 323/480 of the 2026 fiscal year budget. The aid is exclusively intended for school supplies for Early Childhood Education students of the two aforementioned centers.

Deadline and submission of applications

The application period runs from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila until October 31, 2026. Interested parties should go to the municipal electronic office, where the guidelines and the documents necessary to formalize the request are available.

The call for applications arrives with the school year already underway and directly affects families with children enrolled in Early Childhood Education in Candeleda and El Raso, who have just over a month to process the aid.
