Foreign Ministry provisionally appoints Palópoli as Operations Coordinator

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship has appointed on a transitional basis Mr. Damián Pablo Palópoli (D.N.I. No. 27.309.923) as Operations and Technology Coordinator, a position reporting to the General Directorate of Information Technologies and Associated Communications, within the scope of the Undersecretariat of Coordination and Foreign Administration. The measure was adopted by the head of the portfolio and published in the Official Gazette of the Argentine Republic on August 18, 2026.

The appointment is effective as of July 1, 2026, for a term of 180 business days, with exceptional authorization as the official does not meet the minimum requirements established in Article 14 of the Sectoral Collective Bargaining Agreement of the National Public Employment System (SINEP).

The position is filled on a transitional basis and does not constitute an allocation of extraordinary resources. The payment of the Executive Function Supplement Level IV of the aforementioned sectoral agreement is authorized.

The transitional appointment responds to the need to fill a vacant and funded position in the information technology area of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, within a context of administrative reorganization of the State.
