A sector with its own budgetary support

The strategy arrives at a time of economic support for the sector. • 2026: 525,432.00 euros.

It is awarded through competitive bidding and is aimed at individual artisans, craft enterprises, and local corporations. Its objectives include promoting craftsmanship, recovering traditional trades at risk of disappearing, encouraging generational renewal, and revitalizing active Canarian artisans.

Fairs and competencies of the General Directorate

The General Directorate of Industry assumes the management of regional, national, and international craft fairs, according to Article 28 of Decree 81/2026, of May 4, which approves the Organic Regulation of the Ministry of Economy, Industry, Commerce, and the Self-Employed.
