The Department of Education, Vocational Training, Physical Activity and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands has ordered the publication in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands number 175, of September 1, 2026, of the cooperation agreement signed with the collaborating entity Your Team, S.L. for the management of non-competitive grants intended to promote early schooling. The publication is carried out through the Resolution of August 5, 2026 of the Technical General Secretariat, in compliance with article 20 of Decree 11/2019, of February 11, which requires the dissemination of agreements in the gazette within twenty days following their signing.

The agreement, signed in the Canary Islands on August 4, 2026, implements the cooperation in the management and processing of aid from the “Child Voucher” program, whose regulatory bases, of indefinite validity, were approved by Order No. 519, of July 22, 2024, and modified by Order No. 1378, of November 19, 2025. The entity was proposed as a collaborator following the call issued by the Order of March 27, 2026.

Signing Parties and Purpose

On behalf of the Administration, the counselor Hipólito Alejandro Suárez Nuez signs, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by Law 14/1990, of July 26, on the Legal Regime of the Public Administrations of the Canary Islands. On behalf of the collaborating entity, Iván Carlos Benítez Puentes intervenes, legal representative of Your Team, S.L., concessionaire of the Elisa González de Chávez Early Childhood Education public service, in the El Mayorazgo Urbanization, until August 31, 2028.

The purpose of the agreement is the management of grants intended for early schooling in:

  • Municipal early childhood education schools.
  • Private early childhood education centers authorized to teach the first cycle of Early Childhood Education.

Obligations of the Collaborating Entity

Your Team, S.L. assumes, among others, the following functions:

  • Receive and review applications submitted by families within five business days.
  • Process applications through the electronic office of the Government of the Canary Islands.
  • Certify the monthly attendance of the beneficiary students.
  • Deduct the granted amount from the invoices and refund fees already paid.
  • Require a negative certificate from the Central Registry of Sexual Offenders for personnel in contact with minors.
  • Publish the final award resolution in a visible place within the center.

The entity will not receive any financial compensation for its participation in the management of the program.

Validity, Funds and Monitoring

The agreement enters into force on the date of its signing and shall have a duration of two years, extendable by mutual agreement up to a maximum of six years. The Department will transfer the funds in three successive installments: a first advance payment for the period from September to March, a second payment for April to June conditional upon prior justification, and a third, with payment within twenty days from the granting or justification.

A Joint Monitoring Commission is created, composed of two representatives from the Department and two from the entity, which will prepare an annual report and a final memorandum. The agreement will be registered in the General Electronic Registry of Public Sector Agreements of the Canary Islands within fifteen business days from its publication.

Relevance for families

The publication of the agreement guarantees the continuity of the “Child Bonus” program at the center managed by Your Team, S.L., so that families may request the subsidization of early schooling fees through the school itself. The agreement strengthens the network of collaborating entities that channel public aid toward the first cycle of Early Childhood Education, a key stage for work-life balance and early schooling in the Canary Islands.
