Campo de Belchite: convenio con Aragón contra la violencia de género

The Official Gazette of Aragon publishes this Tuesday, October 20, 2026, Order PJC/1488/2026, of October 6, which provides for the publication of the collaboration agreement between the Aragonese Institute for Women and the Comarca of Campo de Belchite for the implementation of training actions and campaigns regarding the prevention and awareness of gender-based violence. The agreement is expressly framed within the State Pact against Gender-Based Violence and was signed on September 25, 2026. The provision appears in issue number 203 of the gazette, within section III “Other Provisions and Agreements,” with the official reference BOA20261020016.

An agreement registered in the General Registry of Agreements

The published text details that the agreement was registered in the General Registry of Agreements of the Government of Aragon under number 2026/6/0419. The signature corresponds to the Vice President and Councilor for Presidency, Justice, Culture and Sport of the Government of Aragon and the President of the Comarca of Campo de Belchite, representing both administrations.

The order is issued under paragraphs 5 and 6 of article 151 of Law 5/2021, of June 29, on the Organization and Legal Regime of the Autonomous Public Sector of Aragon, and article 13 of Decree 57/2012, of March 7, of the Government of Aragon, which regulates the General Registry of Agreements of the Autonomous Community. The document is dated in Zaragoza on October 6, 2026, and is signed, by delegation, by the Technical General Secretary of Presidency, Justice, Culture and Sport, Cristina Asensio Grijalba.

Training and awareness campaigns

The purpose of the agreement, as stated in the title of the order, is the implementation of training actions and prevention and awareness campaigns against gender-based violence within the scope of the comarca. These are, therefore, preventive and informative actions, rather than the direct provision of assistance to victims.

The Official Gazette of Aragon does not reproduce the full clauses of the agreement: the order is limited to ordering its publication and refers to the General Registry of Agreements (aragon.es/registrodeconvenios) to consult the full information of agreement number 2026/6/0419. For this reason, the gazette does not detail in this publication either the financial contribution of each party or the specific calendar of the planned activities.

Three comarca agreements on the same day

The publication for Campo de Belchite is part of a series of three agreements of identical content disseminated by the gazette on the same day, all of them signed on September 25, 2026, and processed by the Vice Presidency of the Government and Department of Presidency, Justice, Culture and Sport:

  • Order PJC/1488/2026: Comarca de Campo de Belchite, registration 2026/6/0419, reference BOA20261020016.
  • Order PJC/1489/2026: Comarca del Bajo Cinca/Baix Cinca, registration 2026/6/0417, reference BOA20261020017, signed by the President (female) of the comarca.
  • Order PJC/1490/2026: Comarca del Bajo Martín, registration 2026/6/0418, reference BOA20261020018, signed by the President (male) of the comarca.

All three correspond to the same collaboration model between the Aragonese Institute for Women and the Aragonese comarcas within the state framework for the fight against gender-based violence.

Background: the comarcal care network

The collaboration between the Aragonese Institute for Women and the Comarca de Campo de Belchite is not new. The Official Gazette of Aragon of August 13, 2026, published Order PJC/1178/2026, dated July 30, which publicized the agreement between both entities for the provision of psychological, social, and family educational care services, registered under number 2026/6/0323 and signed on July 8, 2026.

That agreement belongs to a series of similar accords signed with nearly thirty comarcas, including Bajo Martín, Bajo Cinca/Baix Cinca, Comunidad de Calatayud, Jiloca, Sobrarbe, Valdejalón, Los Monegros, Matarraña/Matarranya, Ribagorza, Gúdar-Javalambre, Maestrazgo, Sierra de Albarracín, Alto Gállego, Cinco Villas, Cinca Medio, Cuencas Mineras, Andorra-Sierra de Arcos, Comunidad de Teruel, La Jacetania, La Litera, Somontano de Barbastro, Campo de Cariñena, Campo de Daroca, Aranda, and Comarca Central. The sequence shows a consolidated cooperation network between the regional body and the Aragonese rural environment.

Impact for readers

The formal publication of the agreement enables the development of the planned training and awareness activities in the territory, an area where comarcal services are the first point of entry for many women. The agreement reinforces the role of the comarcas in the application of the State Pact against Gender-Based Violence and provides public record, through the Official Gazette of Aragon, of the economic and organizational commitment assumed by the Aragonese Institute for Women and the Comarca de Campo de Belchite.
